I have a few things that probably would help.
Installing OptiFine Mod will give you an FPS boost, making it not so much lag. Also, you should allocate Minecraft more RAM, video here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1395030-tutorial-allocate-more-memory-for-minecraft/
These things together will make minecraft run faster, creating less lag when recording.
Other then that i use quicktime, and with these it runs fine.
I would allocate about 4 gigs

I want to run a server on an old HP Compaq d7600 small form fac computer, which is REALLY old, and right now only is 2 gb ram compatible, which isn't enough to host a modded server on. I was wondering if anyone (who would be REALLY REALLY AWESOME if they could) find a motherboard that would work on that computer but be able to have 8gb min. My price range is $300 dollars (if its just a bit over i can cover), and besides that, theres nothing else. If you guys can find one, you are officially THE BEST!
Jun 19, 2013Hey guys, i just have a quick question.Posted in: PC Servers
I found an old computer that i want to run a minecraft server on, and i know it doesn't have the specified requirements to run a server well. It has 0.99 gb ram, and 200 gb memory. I want to know what specifics it should have and any cheap ram/hard drive upgrades that i can get.
