You can get an Intel Xeon E3 1240v3 CPU server with ServerMania with 32GB of RAM for $144/month here

They have locations in Buffalo, New York, as well as Los Angeles, California. Although the L.A. location is $15/month extra (which is included in the $144/month price given).

In comparison, you would get a much better performing server with better latency if you paid a bit more per month if you went with ServerMania. PhoenixNAP/SecuredServers is a bit more well known of a provider however, so it's a matter of preference I guess.

Pros to renting from a datacenter provider like OVH or PhoenixNAP -
- Much lower price for the hardware
- Buying from the source
- Usually much more reliable than a Minecraft reseller, as these datacenters aren't going anywhere anytime soon

Cons to renting from a datacenter provider -
- Servers usually are unmanaged. Meaning unless there is an issue with the hardware or their network, they aren't going to help you with much.
- No option to install a Minecraft based control panel during setup

Why do you want to join?: I am a big fan of Mindcrack and Hermitcraft. I love the community they have and the way they know each other well and are good friends. I would love to get to know the people on Cubecrafted and play and talk with them. SP Survival gets monotonous and it is hard finding a good vanilla and survival server. It is great to meet people and play a good game with others.

How frequently would you play?: Currently, I am in my 6 week summer holiday giving me plenty of time to play. Anytime I am at home, I spend on my PC. I will be away for a week during this holiday. School might affect me when it starts up again although I should be playing at least 7-10 hours a week.
How long have you played Minecraft? I have played since 1.2.5 so about 2 years. I have built up quite a good knowledge of the game and features though. Did you know shears can be used to disable tripwires without setting off a redstone pulse?
Any extra information? Pikarim is a Pikachu Timelord and a musician (I play the piano). I like fish fingers but my least favorite food has to be fish fingers and custard.

The worst part was that the server staff didn't care. You can still trust me hunter, but I wont be building any huge quartz daimonds anywhere this time.
