Ok, so I discovered a .PNG file in the downloads folder, I opened it and it was the texture I was having issues with, I deleted it and opened Minecraft and the default texture was back. Thanks for the help and quick replies!
How did u initially put the texture pack on the game did u put it in the texture pack folder in minecraft folder or did u unarchive the texture pack then put minecraft application itself in that the texture pack folder?
when I download any zip or rar file it unzips automatically, so I took the contents of the unzipped folder and rezipped, then put them in the texture folder.
Delete .minecraft (back up your saves first)
Empty any caches or temp storage (I'm not sure how to do that on a mac)
And restart your computer
If that doesn't fix it, then I can't help you :/
Yea, I have deleted everything on the computer that was Minecraft related, and re-downloaded the program, I forced an update and it downloaded everything again. It is still using the mineral finder texture that I deleted. I am guessing that somewhere on my computer there is a file messing with the game, but I have no clue where it would be if it isnt in the Minecraft folder.
Ok, I have had NO luck with mods or texture packs and now I am completely unable to get the default texture back. I have deleted the various files, as well as deleting the entire Minecraft folder and re-downloaded a few times and it is still using the mineral finder texture pack. I have no idea how to get rid of it or to get the original texture back. Can someone PLEASE help me?
Hello. First I would like to say this mod looks fantastic. I would love to play it, but there is a problem that I have had for several days now. The file wont download. The site just keeps reloading the page. I have tried to copy the address and use a different tab, I have tried to download the link, and the file from the link and it just downloads the HTML and saves it. There is no mirror site that I can see so I am unsure how to get this mod. If anyone can advise me on how to get it downloaded to my mac i would sure appreciate it.
