Jul 30, 2011HotTomatoes posted a message on 1.8 Updates: New Mob...Revealed?"Farlanders" seems about right for these guys though. Think about it, they are odd creatures not of this land, such as Farlands is not of this "world" we call Minecraft. You think that a backstory could be that they came from the Farlands? I mean, considering how long it takes for you to get to farlands, it would make sense you only now start to see them appearing.Posted in: News

Ps3 has no issues with ingame mods, not sure why xbox has other ideas..

They had **** like repairing items at the type of a simple command (enchanted items too), and the top donars got the ability to place signs that allowed you to ENCHANT your stuff with no cost.
Server lasted about 3 months before going down forever. Went along 1.5k worth of donations from a few players only, too.

They used to be funny, but now, jeesh.
Someone post a playthough of ONE recent challenge map they've played when they didn't break any of the map rules.

I only raid/grief on those kinds of servers. I also build. I've had plenty of things blown to ****/raided from me on those kinds of servers. I in total on a specific server, have stolen roughly around 10 stacks of diamond blocks from other players, and lost roughly 15-20 stacks as well.

It isn't my fault they decided to put that much work into a base on a pvp server

Yes, it's also fun when I tnt someone's house that from the looks of it, took maybe a week or two of work to build.

Well this work just ****ed up my entire map that I was building.
I built a parkour map (finished, just going though to make sure it was passable), when I died at a point (fell into void). I had a bed respawn point set before doing this, but as soon as I respawn, I find myself in a brand new location, 1-2k estimated blocks away from my original spawn (only know this from a glimpse of my coords awhile ago). I lost around 7-8 hours of work in that one go. I wouldn't be complaining as much if MCedit was an option.
tl;dr: superflat is a cruel and harsh mistress
