Hola,
I am currently working on a new project that involves copious amounts of spawners.
I basically need each spawner to spawn only 1 mob and the spawn delay should be next to nothing.
While doing so, I set the entity cap to 1 and the spawn delay of 1-2 ticks. However, I observed that in this configuration, the spawners keep spawning mobs. It would spawn one normally and then a few seconds later, it would spawn another and so on. However, at a delay of a few hundred ticks, it works fine. I do not want to increase the delay as it would ruin the aesthetic effect.
Then you could potentially fill the place with tripwire/pressure plates hooked up to a command black with the /effect command. It's not very practical though TBH
Edit: A much more practical way would be to make a command block with /testfor in it testing for an area which you want. That command block would connect to one with the /effect command.
Yes it is possible with MCEdit.
What you need is a CreateSpawners filter and the ModifySpawnerProperties filter from SethBling. http://sethbling.com/downloads/mcedit-filters/
Watch some of his YouTube videos to know how to use it.
Basically, you throw the splash potion of the effect you want in game.
Go to MCEdit and create the spawner
Modify its properties to the parameters you want
If you release this mod mate, my day will have been made. It's sooooo annoying having to open up MCedit all the time to do simple things.
All of the features currently listed seem perfect for any map maker. Kudos to you!
Hello Guys,
I am working on this minecraft adventure map and I have a question.
Does anyone know how mob aggro works in minecraft? Does the person who attacks first maintain aggro or the person who deals the most damage?
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers

I want to know if the number of levels needed to enchant a weapon with an enchantment book can be changed? As in taking 5 levels to link with Sharpness 5 but 10 with Flame Aspect or Looting
Hey guys,
I am making an adventure map that is to be an MMORPG. I'ts turning out to be quite the challenge to complete.
Since I have already asked two separate questions in different posts, I'll ask you guys as much as I can think off instead of badgering the forum with repeated posts.
- Is it possible to prevent people from leaving teams?
-What is the MAX duration a potion can be made to last
-Is there any way to prevent potion effect losses on death?
-Is there any way to make custom enchantment names?
-Is it possible to change the number of experience levels an enchantment/enchantment book takes?
Hey guys,
I recently started an adventure map which i want to turn into an mmorpg. It's an audacious project but I'm enjoying the challenge. However, I need some help.
I have decided to make a class system in the map.
Is it possible to restrict players of a certain class from entering an area or from using a button/pressure plate?
Any help is appreciated

I searched the site but couldn't find anything relevant. Am I missing something obvious?

Asking people to build your ENTIRE map for you is stupid and it no longer makes it YOUR map.
