    Crabs are very vicious. (Also the beach mobs are deeper into the mod than say, the undead miner.)

    Without preparation a good portion of the added mobs will demolish you. This isn't a mod that you can jump tiers without considerable skill or luck. Take it in chunks and don't try to engage anything without considerable thought into how it will go.

    I assume this is just an oversight, because I don't imagine many will be using coal or realmite blocks for decoration. I installed craft guide and verified that the recipes for flipping back to raw ingredients are definitely just missing.

    My second question is probably one you receive all too often: Is there SMP support planned? Me and my friend are very interested in starting a server running this mod, and were simply curious if we could expect it in the pipes, maybe during the 1.4 MC release period? If not, it makes sense, and I will continue to enjoy it in SSP.

    Edit: I neglected to mention I am running 1.1.3. If reverse crafting was added in 1.1.4, then my apologies, I haven't yet upgraded.


    Reverse crafting will be added in the next update (1.2). While this may be an inconvenience, it is not a game breaking bug and henceforth we will not have people re-update for the recipes. The SMP version is still in development and we are still working out bugs and play testing it. It should be released in the near future however. If you would like to help bug test SMP you can join the official server we have up. (link in the main post)

    A normal with with a power enchantment is effective versus most overworld and nether mobs. A lot of fighting them is using terrain and trying to keep far enough away from them. Personally I use tunnels to move around instead of fighting them. But that is dependent on play style.

    Fighting them head on is not a recommended tactic vs these mobs. They will only attack if you are within 16 blocks. So using a bow at range is an effective strategy versus these mobs. Open areas also leave you very vulnerable for attack from different directions in the nether.

    We need a clock (four gold ingots and a redstone, no big deal here) and EIGHT Hellstone Ingot. Each ingot is made a Netherite chunk - that is crafted with five netherite ingots - and of Two Shadow Ingots, who are made of one rupee ingot and one arlemite ingot - and both are as rare as hell. So, to make a Mysterious Clock, we need 8 Rupees, 8 Arlemites, 40 Netherites and a Clock. Taking that the boss drops ONE divine essence that, crafted with one stone, gives ONE divine block.     In resume, to finally reach the first dimension of this mod, all you have to do is find 80 Rupees, 80 Arlemites, 400 Netherites, make 10 clocks to make 10 Mysterious Clocks, summon and survive 10 boss battles to finally build the frame - ignoring possibilities like falling or dropping items in Tar or something. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a collosal task.

    I see the logic here, I really do. The grind of XP for levels is what gives importance to the progress made in an RPG, but must be fine tuned - too easy to gain levels, and the game easy bores the player and it is fast finished; too hard, and the players fell that they are not playing, but executing a choir, and may abandon the game. Since levels in Minecraft doesn't work like a normal level at all, you transfered the grind to the crafting task, and it is a brilliant idea. But lets presume that I guessed right with above observation: it takes a very huge ammount of time to find the first boss, and even more to enter the first realm of the mod.

    Again, not saying it is a bad thing or a good thing. I like people who think different, and I like this mod. A lot. I just want it to be sucessful.


    The boss actually drops 1-5 divine shards on death, so it can take as few as two kills to get to our new dimension. On another note, The Watcher also drops divine shards and although he is more difficult than the ancient entity he also drops the bluefire stones used in some advanced weapons and armors.

    The server crashed. Both blued00r and Xolova are sleeping to fix it. I do not know why it crashed.

    Rupees and Arlemite are also found in the overworld. However, they are very rare.
