I think we can all agree that this change would be universally accepted, helpful, and taken advantage of. It's embarrassing how bare-bones the settings are, really.
Glass blocks are rendered incorrectly. Can be replicated for understand what I'm trying to explain: Build a 3 by 3 by 3 cube of glass blocks. The blocks in the center are viewable and aren't clear.
Glass blocks are supposed to be invisible when surrounded by other glass blocks. As of now, it looks like cobwebs bunch up and isn't very clear.
I understand that we are playing the Xbox version of Minecraft but why does that mean it has to be so watered-down? MCXOne edition's audio options are Extremely Limiting. As it is on PC now, their options for music and sounds are:
Master Volume
Music
Weather
Hostile Creatures
Players
Jukebox/Noteblocks
Blocks
Passive Creatures
Ambient/Environment
The Xbox One edition consists of:
Music
Sounds
We have very little control to these settings. It's an "all or nothing" scenerio and that's a bit upsetting. I don't know about the rest of you but when you hear a constant loop of the same music over and over and over it gets a tad repetitive. I love C418's work but even he would agree.
"Well just turn off the music." That's the problem with the current version of MCXone; By turning down the music, I give up my noteblock sounds, my jukebox music, and my ambient sounds. I don't want to sacrifice all that just because it's all classified under Music. Say I want to turn down Hostile Creature sounds so Ghasts aren't as loud. In doing so I've now turned down weather, walking/running, environmental sounds, Passive Creatures, breaking block sound effects and more. For such an open and expansive game such as this filled with music and sounds, the options we have just doesn't do it justice for having only two settings - Music and Sound.
So what I would like to see - and suggest!- is that the audio options are overhauled to match that of what PC has. It only makes sense that way. Ambient sounds, noteblocks, and jukeboxes should not be classified under one setting. Also, Hostile Creatures, Passive Creatures, Players, Weather, and blocks should not all be categorized together in one option either. Give all Music and Sounds their own respective options, allowing us to personalize our settings. Thanks for reading and please share your thoughts.
No yours is a great thread that I failed to find via the search bar. I do hope that the developers have this on their to-do list with the console versions.
This is a fine suggestion and would be fantastic, not only for the 360 edition of Minecraft, but hopefully to the other platforms as well. There should be individual volume sliders for practically everything in game, similar to that on PC.
I sure would take advantage of this hopeful update by going out and buying some licensed Microsoft headsets at my local Microsoft store and maybe while I'm there a windows phone. Just as it is now with what we have, I'm starting to feel that my regular TV speakers will suffice with the poor customization options that are present with our MC console editions.
It seems like not everyone is a fan of the ambient sounds. You wouldn't have to put up with them if 4J implemented PC audio controls in the next update...
If you have silk touch can't you keep placing the breaking the diaomond ores?wouldn't that make it unfair?
Wouldn't count since you're getting the actual resource block and not the finite material. If they really wanted to make leaderboards useful, I think the best thing to do would just to axe the whole thing and put in Statistics instead, similar to PC. If they were cheeky about it, add some way to view your friends statistics. If this came it'd be cool, if it didn't I wouldn't mind.
For every 3x3 block area, put a half slab in the center. Creepers, zombies, and skeletons will spawn on the blocks surrounding the half slab. The slab is there to prevent spiders from spawning as they are 2x2.
It should've stayed an Xbox exclusive. Now we, their original customers, are being ignored. I knew this would happen.
I'm glad it came to the 360 in the first place, let alone other platforms. You should be happy to see that Minecraft is as big as it is today, only have started on PC. Pretty much all devices can run Minecraft now and that's amazing! Waiting a few more months for it to make it's way to the next gen platforms won't kill you. Not to mention that it's being ported to four platforms by one company, it's going to take some time. I think you need to build a bridge and get over it.

I was under the impression that chain mail armor can be obtained from trading a blacksmith in survival.

Just thought of it: bedrock core.
Anyway, I don't see this happening ever really. I would imagine that the entire game code would have to be rewritten.
