posted a message on Disastrous Single Player Flaw in 1.8 -- Has this happened to you?
The game has never, ever supported back dating versions. The game has always supported updating to newer versions, however once in a new game, version, you can not go back a version without a significant chance of corrupting the save. This happens to be the case, The game is slowly phasing out block ID's. However, the Block ID is still used for chunk section files, All title ID's use alphabetic and inventory including players.

posted a message on EULA Revisited: an Updated Q&A From Mojang
The EULA - effective from December 2013 - forbids all things that effect gameplay. However the EULA I read forbids selling anything for real money IRL, regardless of it effecting game play. - that includes selling rank that even change Minecraft color. Mojang should have enforced it from the beginning, but I'd see a lawsuit before I comment further.

posted a message on Latest snapshot brings...............................nevermind. It bring mediocrity
    Quote from PopuliMinistrum

I don't usually complain and I find that argument fallacious and annoying as well. What I find more annoying is how because I like 1.8's map maker features I am labelled a "fanboy". I do not, nor will I ever white-knight for Mojang. Their game is a laggy unoptimized mess and trying to look through the code is like trying to look through a dump. However, because I like one update, I am obviously a white-knighting fanboy. In fact, I think anybody who uses the term fanboy should just leave the forums as it is just an ad hominem argument against the people who happen to like updates when they have nowhere else to turn. So by calling someone a fanboy you are conceding to them that you are wrong and are out of arguments.

Fanboy you say? Well, I wouldn't say but the truth is the village is incredibly broken. 1.8 doesn't change the wolrd save for three new rock and maybe a change from lake features. But the biggest mistake is the village trades. They are now not random at all now, the trades are now unfair to acutally generate emelred. The biggest is the White robe village. Here, they added a whopping 20 23 emerld trade as the last offer. The villager was the best way to get emerleds, but now they are unviable. The blacksmith doesn't give all the tools anymore as well; the farmer doesn't offer melon slices anymore, now no way to buy bottle of enchanting - and no really rare gold trading ether. I hope they fix the village trades before they finalise it. I'm not happy now.

posted a message on Dinnerbone Acknowledges 1.6 Zombie AI
Before you read, I do wish the Zombies get the up-most severe nerf ever in the history of Minecraft. It has almost stopped me playing Minecraft, and I want you to get the full story. As 1.6 came, they had a brilaiant idea to make Zombie more buffed. But they over did it. Here are the following why...
Zombies get a chance to spawn more Zombie when hurt
Zombies spawn more zombies when not looked at
Zombies have way to far range
And there drops are unsatifiying me. Waste of weapon durability for nothing in return.
Since they spawn even fully lit, when near they will start spawing a significant amount of zombies in an unreasonably short period of time. It's not they are hard, it's they are annoying... and the way the game is now, I can't really play Minecraft without peaceful. I wish Mojang will give them the nerf hammer, and I wish it to rebalacend...

posted a message on Load Minecraft generator to save wolrd pre load? (unmodified)
    Quote from Ritter_Kaldor

u can in MC-Edit generate new worlds as big as u HD can handle it. (if u have the time to generate this)

I never try if its possible to extend already generate worlds in this way, but for new worlds its the way.
(I use this way to generate maps for my bukkit server)

Thinks! I am generating 10000 by 10000 chunks using MC edit of the latest snapshot. I don't know how long it takes, though.
EDIT: 360000 chunks it says. I forgot the total amount I put in, not the 10000 by 10000, but it will take a long time. Oh well, at least it works on the latest snapshot. Te-he...

    posted a message on [1.7.10 - 1.8] littleMaidMob Final versions!!! Updated April 14, 2016
    Quote from 8bit_Pheonix

Well I learned my lesson. Never give your maid a full inventory of TNT and sick her on zombie pigman just to see what happens.

this is what happens if you are interested

I gave her 600 of them. Crashed the game and went back and deleted entirely of my small fortress. Afterwards I had to restart the game lagging because of all the item entities creating insane lag.

posted a message on What is your opinion on Marijuana
    Quote from Corvo

Marijuana is healthier than cigarettes, so I think it should be treated as such. Make cigarettes illegal (not going to happen, to many addicts,) or make Marijuana legal everywhere.

This is hypocrisy.. according to you. According to your logic, tabaco should be illegal because it is unhealther then cannabus. No, cannabus is illegal because it has serious drug abuse problems and should be outlawed. I support the death penalty for trafficking it to, like Singapore has.

posted a message on Would Gun Control even help?
    Quote from Regular

So if we could pass a law that saved 3000 lives, which would only be an improvement of 10%, you'd think that was a waste of time? You might not if you were one of the 3000.

You didn't read. The amount of guns has reached market saturation. Any person who buys on will likely already own one. In any case, the law will be ineffective , increase crime indirectly by opening up a market up to a new black market, ect. I have low expacations for this new so-called gun law. I view it as not worth my time reading it.
