Experimental (infinite source, but the same physics still apply: it doesn't fill the air infinitely; it falls). Buggy, going to sleep so can't fully finish

I am going to be waiting until after Halloween to update this. I will also do the hiding of sky stuff individually and allow bigger moons, as that seems to be a popular feature coupled with hidden stars
We made a poll first. only 25% doesn't want a mapreset on our server... So it's 75% "Yes" and we'll change. However, after the reset our map gets uploaded to our webserver, making it possible for everybody to do what they want with the map.
Also weird is our playercount... We started the poll one day after the Halloween-Update-News... The playercount went down immediately but now, 20 days later, it is at it's peak again.
Moving the spawnpoint can't be the solution... Our map is already 250 MB huge. That's a pain with all the backups.
Yeah, mines pushing 280mb. I like the idea of a TNT day. Give the players the joy of destroying their creations before whatever happens (backup before of course)
Doing a vote and going with the majority sounds reasonable. If in majority, I'll just copy stuff to a new map, the current is too big and it'll expand even more after the update with Hell....
Mostly just my trusty bow and arrows and of course Obsidian + Flint/steel! I do want to exit a different portal than the one I started with and actually get somewhere!
Regarding the Oct 31 updates, I feel the server will benefit most from a reset.
However, some of my players (Who have been for a few weeks, maybe even longer) think otherwise. Should I just do a full reset despite what they think? What are you going to be doing? Right now it just feels like creative. Minecarts are broken. Redstone hardly works (doors). No HP at all.
There have been many many dupes / spawns which is one of the main reasons I want to reset assuming they are fixed. Another is that for new blocks / etc a reset will most likely be necessary. I do not think it will be necessary for a reset to benefit from Hell.
Another? Biomes. The map is already fairly well explored, so Biomes will not be able to be utilized very much.
Theoretically, I could copy stuff with Cuboid (I'm staying on a strict no iron/gold/etc blocks if I do do it) and put them somewhere in the world when Cuboid is usable again. But why.
In reality, I'm probably some how or another going to reset, because it is what I've been waiting for and why I have been hosting a server. I just want to know some other people's opinions and what they are going to do regarding their server.
I've also told them ahead of time (a while ago), but they seem to disagree with it now
Whoops, did it again. this should probably be in the Halloween update forum D:
My only irk is with the leaves. I just don't like the way they look. Not sure how you could change it (if you'd want to) but I thought I'd mention it anyway.
Not to toot my own horn so to speak, but a vast majority of Bukkit servers are covered with Plugin Metrics, a service I created for authors like myself that wanted anonymous statistics.

Sure, I already found the class for the server. I'll patch it and quickly test it and upload it shortly

My bad, skipped over it :tongue.gif: Did you extract every file from the updated 1.1 jar to your minecraft.jar?

What mod? If it's the time trigger thingy, you don't need to use it as this mod can also change time.
I'll have a new version out soon. Apparently the client has Full screen mode built in, so that'll be in as well (not just maximized).
