    My first issue here is the title, "Mod Idea: Minecraft Real Time Strategy Strategy". Secondly, if this were to be made, no one would want to play as a servant faction with no real hope of surviving without another player as Human, and it seems pointless to simply exist to create a set of resources. Last, a Human faction would serve as a totally overpowered force unless zombies had a manipulative ability, which would swing the balance into the Monster's favor by quite a lot.
    Please think out the idea before reposting it, though, I've seen quite a few attempts at something nearing it (AI mods, colony building mods, Clay soldiers), so the interest is there.

    Brilliant, also, perhaps implement some kind of point system for those, so you can't have a medium mech running about with 10 Thunderbolts with 800 rounds each and going faster than a heavy without a tenth of that. Now, as for weapons, what are you going to make? I highly doubt that immediately putting all of them in would be practical/ feasible, so maybe the most and least impressive ones to start (least to start realistically, most to draw attention, because who doesn't like explosions?) Like the basic lasers, flamethrowers, machine guns, etc., and also Gauss Rifles, Thunderbolts, PPC's, and the like to attract people, and also because you need gauss rifles.

    Just use an Urban mech for mining. Also, I'd put in the Black Hawk (It's an Omni most of the time, and even though it's medium, I took out a Kodiak with it once. I feel like the Omni mechs would add an impressive level of extra customizability, which is obviously something you want in minecraft.) Of course, if that's too much work, it's understood.

    BuildCraft's Pump. As long as ou move the water into tanks, and dam it up on both sides as to not drain all your water, there isn't a faster way to emancipate the blue stuff!

    I think it's just because people thought "Hey, gift code cards are a thing!" and overloaded minecraft.net. You can hardly use the site, and I keep getting an error stationg that the servers are working too hard. The main page & shop work semi-well though.

    I liked 1.7 (I do agree with you, though, it could have been more realistic). The only thing I really hate about the new terrain engine is the fact that there are no mountain ranges, just single, monolithic mountains hacked apart by ravines, hence creating an area not suited to anything at all, besides demolition.

    This mod is stunning. Very well made graphics, launch systems, etc. it's such a shame you can't use EU, though. I'd install it in a heartbeat if I wasn't already using the Technic Pack. (Although it's good enough to be in Technic)

    Edit: So, anyone still looking at this... PLEASE pick this project back up!
    THREAD OBITUARY:
    It was the finest Sonic TP I can find to date, both for its use of Lava Reef nether textures, its Death Egg moon, etc., and for the excellent quality of said textures. SRB2Knockout's works are, as of this writing, unrivaled. He and his works will be sorely missed; as he hasn't been on for quite some time.
