    "You can leave it blank in the CelestialObject definition" is false. I didn't 'refuse' anything, I just followed what you told me to do there, and noted that it isn't a good practice to simply draw an unwanted object offscreen- that's just eating extra RAM for no reason.

    I also got that I have the sun overlapping the earth, as stated in the code block, where it notes that the sun and earth are overlapping. I just wanted to know how to adjust them so as to prevent this in a best-practices manner.

    Okay so there are two issues here-
    1. There's no 'leave it blank' option from what I've tested. Earth starts without a name tag at all, and is called 'earth' based on its ID. Adding a blank one causes it to be called 'Overworld'. Introducing a blank character still causes the bar to render. Removing the ID causes it to be called 'overworld'. I don't think that removing IDs is a good practice at any rate, nor would simply moving the label offscreen- I want to stop it from being drawn.

    2. Increasing the world size to say, 100,000 blocks does not work. I get "An unknown error occurred while attempting to perform this command." On doing /wreload. Logs:

    Overlapping parent areas detected in dimension -101 between earth and sun
    Area1 box[-90000.0, 0.0, -20000.0 -> 10000.0, 8.0, 80000.0] from CelestialObject earth [Dimension 0 @ 0 0 Border(100000 100000) Parent(-101 @ -40000 30000) provider other gravity 1.000 isBreathable true]
    Area2 box[-5000.0, 0.0, -5000.0 -> 5000.0, 8.0, 5000.0] from CelestialObject sun [-Virtual- Border(10000 10000) Parent(-101 @ 0 0)]

    I don't understand how editing scale influences draw location, and if it's merely working this to center the location within space, that's fine, but how should I shift locations to accommodate a larger world?

    The way that rocky terrain feels so much more difficult with this adds a ton of immersion for me.

    I have finally found a larger system!

    They don't seem quite as frequent but this shows that they do indeed occur.

    I've also been getting these when trying to update the world border:

    Working on integrating this with a modpack I've been working on. Is there any way to remove the dimension label that starts with 'earth' (image attached)? I'm having issues figuring out where to go for that.

    It's not a heavy mechanic, but the goal of the mod is to make rivers, and so it makes sense that it focuses on making rivers over adding decorative blocks, waterlogged versions of existing blocks, and then considering how to make the generation for all that more efficient; in software engineering, the process of something like that happening is called 'scope creep', and it makes your work significantly harder over time as more small features 'pile up' and have to be separately maintained.

    Apparently it's in the works.

    Adding water flowing though currently solid blocks like that is probably out of the scope of this mod, given that it deals in structural terrain generation and that is a considerable mechanical undertaking totally unrelated to what this does.

    Hey, how exactly does the mod determine when/where to spawn a river? I'm running Streams with BoP on 1.12.2 and I've been trying to get a good river spawn for a whole day to no avail. In the past, on 1.7.10 with BoP, I managed to get one really cool river through a mountain complex which pierced it like a tree's roots. If my memory serves me right, they also managed to spawn pretty frequently. Now when I generate worlds the rivers are rare and refuse to appear at higher altitudes. When they do, they're usually wholly inside a large structure and only come out at the end.

    Could there be a problem with custom blocks, as in the mod doesn't recognise them as possible spawn points? I also have other mods that add a number of custom rocks. Or is it just that it won't spawn when the terrain doesn't allow it to form properly?

    I've been trying to remedy this behavior for some time as I recall the version used in Trchnodefirmacraft operating just as you say. My pack also has the same problem and I believe it to be settings related rather than compatibility related, but I will give things a test today to check.

    After checking, I found only this river after nearly an hour of searching on plain vanilla, no mods but streams.

    It's definitely not a conflict here, the mod itself seems to be less prone to make the fantastical mega rivers it used to.

    EDIT: Results

    Any hope for the 1.12 version ever seeing the light of (up)day(tes) again? I really would like to use the config you talked about with my current modpack.

    If not, can you point me to what I would need to tweak in your code to, as many as possible, make the rivers larger, longer, more willing to spawn higher up, more gradually sloped, more/less shallow, and more common?

    I am getting a connection error as well. Shame, that. Seems like a nice server by your description, Thorn. If someone has an update on this, I would enjoy such information to the point that some of the STRONG would begin to sweat, so to speak.

    You can run minecraft on a microwave. Pretty much any computer is good for minecraft.

    You'd be surprised at how few laptops can run MC. The issue is usually the lack of VRAM.

    Go to the MC Site (the one you bought Minecraft from), then go to profile, and browse for your skin (use the button), hit upload, and wait a few minutes.

    Beta 1.5. Oddly enough, I expected it to be more like the SIms, and the Sims to be more like Minecraft. I purchased them at the same time, and began regretting wasting time on the Sims instantly.
