Zombies are one of the most detailed NBT based mob in the game (aside from villagers and the player himself) The extreme tactical customization, randomization, and awsomithication (yeah I went there) makes it a wonderful mob; as intended by Dinnerbone.
    • Has the option to pick up one item and amour pieces (moderate % chance, higher in hard)
    • Can spawn with armor. (higher % in hard)
    • Can spawn other zombies when attacked (Only in hard)
    • Can be assigned commander Zombie or backup (only in hard)
    • the Spawning zombies have the same randomization.
    • Can team with pigmen (only in the nether
    • Can sometimes be turned villager
    • can be baby
    • Can be baby riding chicken
    • and much more
I think zombies are pretty awesome.

You did a good job there clearing the misunderstanding about Zombies. I also like zombies in the same way.

    Thanks.

Even though this is not really Lucky at all one time I defeated the Ender Dragon, but when I came out of the portal (I slept in the stronghold) I has jumping in excitement and Jumped strait into lava and lost my dragon egg and all my gear. That is why you always pay attention...

Also don't listen to JHadden123 and HexMan, They just need a snickers.

I'm not a troll man, I was just joking about only 2 posts here, so I thought I should make one similar to the others. Don't make a statement until you're sure of it. :/

Zombies are a very good source of XP in the game. You can easily get many levels of XP without much effort since zombies are very weak mobs, I get even Gold/Iron/Chainmail armor using my Looting II sword from zombies. The fact they swarm is the reason that they can easily give you XP. They can even be killed using a Stone sword (though it'll require few stone swords to clear a horde as stone-items have low durability), though it'll require 4-5 hits. There is also a chance of a Zombie-Villager spawning and thats a good thing if you have a Weakness splash-potion and a golden apple, you can cure them to create your own village. And though zombies keep spawning after you kill one, but if you even stay away, they'll keep spawning (due to the fact that they've a good sight-range and a Horde like AI) and as you run more and more zombies spawn and they eventually kill you. Though the Zombie swarming can be avoided by remaining indoors (but still some zombies will spawn and pound at the door if its wooden and can even break it at hard difficulty). If you're early in the game then just avoid going out when the night falls (what's the point of hunting mobs if you don't have good equipment), once you get Iron-Armor, it will keep you safe from zombies (leather armor also works but its hard to obtain than Iron IMO) and a good Iron sword will help you kill them (but to slay a whole horde I recommend multiple stone swords especially if you don't have enough Iron because Zombies will make your sword lose its durability fast and its best to keep the Iron sword for other powerful). So basically, Zombies aren't a nuisance to me (they're more of a good source of XP to me) but opinions vary, some people may find coping with the groups difficult.

    Thanks.
The new AI system of calling up reinforcements does seem to produce some interesting results.

I believe its going to be implemented in the upcoming 1.8 and I also don't find anything productive in this feature, and it may raise problems for someone if they're starting or are in the beginning of the game.

I play on TeamExtreme server which has got anit-griefing and bans anyone who attacks/griefs other players. No one can use X-Ray because of Xray detection mods, it has got Anti-Griefing so when you destroy a block it rolls back and the one who destroys it gets banned. I'm in a private faction and due to these circumstances, I've been never griefed on that server, so I've no story. :P

That's a very good idea as far as I think. It'll be a good source of leather too, Leather is hard to obtain in the game as cows are not found everywhere, that's why this has rendered the Leather-Armor obsolete, sometimes the player finds obtaining Iron-Armor(which is more powerful) easier than leather, so leather is just left for Enchanting-Table and books. And if you even find cows early in-game then you'll have to farm them to get more leather (since cows only drop 0-2 Leather), a complete leather-armor requires 24 leather which is equivalent to an average 14 cows so players consider mining iron instead of searching for cows. This idea would make the leather much less rare and thus it'll be easier to obtain leather.

posted a message on Pigman Villager Nether Villages
edit: The "gold ore" in the nether will not be as rare as the Gold in the Overworld but it'll be found frequently buried in netherrack (much like iron ore in the overworld). Mining the gold in the Nether will be tougher than the overworld due to the presence of lava at depths and it'll not be found at high areas.

posted a message on Pigman Villager Nether Villages
How about this: The gold ore in the Nether will function as normal block but once broken it will directly drop 5-6 Nuggets and experience. It will drop nuggets only when broken using an Iron Pickaxe or better. Fortune will cause it to drop more nuggets and using a silk touch will drop the ore instead. Smelting the ore will only give you one nugget (just like redstone or diamond). The ore will be brighter than the regular ore in appearance and will be less "dotted" and with darker background (similar to nether-brick) so as to distinguish it from the regular gold ore. This way neither the Overworld gold ore will become obsolete, neither the people will question the amount of gold in the villages.

    Thanks.

posted a message on Villagers and Zombies, facing problems.
    Quote from Realtime911

    Okay, so :
    - Are the water side of your hut is can be climbed?, if so you need to fence it too
    - Zombies only can spawn if the light level were below 7, check around your hut, if the light level is below 7
    - Zombies may glitched and suffocating to the fence, making it can across the fence

If you want a safe place to breed the villagers, make it on sky, so you may expand it and check the light level in there as you wish

Now I've placed the villagers underground, so no worrying about the hut but the Water side of my hut cannot be climbed but there were always zombies swarming around that area (and they didn't burn because of being in the water). I made an experiment in a separate world and found the problem, I was using nether-brick fence because it does not burn (I was building a lava trap below it, so wooden fence got burned up now and then) and I placed wooden fence on top of it (Because I don't have enough Nether-brick fence) and the Zombies got glitched and passed through it probably due to the horde of multiple zombies and they killed the villagers. I also searched the wiki, there was 50% chance of a Zombie villager spawning upon the death of a villager so that explains why there was only one Zombie villager despite the fact that two villagers died.

Now, I've built an underground room inside my house and got 2 Villager inside it, the floor is made of half-slabs so no Mob-Spawning. Now I've only one question, since the villagers are inside my house (technically), So if a siege happens, will it happen inside my house or outside it?

I think my thread was too complicated for the viewers to answer, thats why there were 69 views but only 1 reply, I made the post in a hurry and put too much details. Thanks for replying.

    Thanks.
