What servers should I play while I wait? I can't name any servers that work like this! :(

Unfortunately, Dwarves vs Zombies is no longer as popular as it used to be. This is partly due to less people playing minecraft (one reason being that people play video games more often in the summer), but many large minigame servers have attracted players from small, community servers. After Dwarfscraft closed, everyone I knew either stopped playing minecraft or moved to Mineplex or Hypixel (with the exception of a few who went with me to a smaller server). I believe that if a server with lots of resources, developers, and players successfully made and actively updated a DvZ server, lots of people would play it -- especially considering the number of active DvZ servers (there used to be a ton of popular ones; now there are around 3).

After Dwarfscraft shut down in 2015, Tyler (the owner) tried to open it earlier last year. He had more than enough resources (we easily paid for Youtube advertising, server hosting, and development costs), but got busy with school and couldn't actively update the server. We agreed the server would be closed because there was no point in running one if only a few people played and the owner didn't have time to update it. I also thought it was interesting how there were usually 3-5 players on, but if around 8 were on, more people would join hoping to play a DvZ game. Now that Najm has the time, resources, developers, and some people who are willing to help out, we might finally be able to make a successful server (or at least one a bit less popular than the original).

Dwarfscraft's DvZ version was a fork of the original plugin, created by Rob. Rob made a server called BuffaloWizards, but the plugin has evolved a lot in other directions. While some prefer Rob's server, many players came to Dwarfscraft to play a different and more traditional style of DvZ.

UberMinecraft also hosts a fork of our DvZ plugin. I believe Tyler sold the plugin (which is now outdated) to them several years ago. I do not recommend UberMinecraft because they rarely have staff online, the community is a bit toxic (or at least the people outside DvZ), and as far as I know, their DvZ has not been updated in years.

LihP is another DvZ server. I believe they used to be somewhat large (40-100 players or so), but there are currently 8 players online. I haven't been on in a long time, but if I recall their version of DvZ is slightly different than each one listed.

    BuffaloWizards IP: dvz.buffalowizards.com (≤ 1.8 supported)
UberMinecraft IP: uberminecraft.com (newest version supported)
LihP Network IP: pvp.lihp.us (newest version supported)

As far as I know, those are the 3 largest servers that currently host DvZ. Feel free to let me know if you find any more! ^_^

Any scripts for flying in survival

Nope, you would need permission to change your gamemode to creative.

Is there a way to automatically respond to chat messages sent by other players, depending on what they said? For example, if Player A said "hello", I would automatically respond with "hello Player A".
