Greetings, I appear to be experiencing some trouble getting LAN to work with MC Forge. You see, I'm trying to play with my siblings in my world over LAN. They're using my father's laptop while I use my desktop. I had installed forge in his laptop aswell in hopes that it would be able to connect. Unfortunately It can't, at the moment of course!
The only way I am able to connect with them is by setting up a forge server on the desktop, and then letting them connect through my local IP. Problem is, my computer becomes RADICALLY unstable, due to the limited amount of RAM my computer possesses.
The mods installed on the desktop is:
Karyonix's GLSL Shaders
The Simple Menu Mod
MATmos mod
BWG4
BACR v3.0
FPS Plus
Inventory Tweaks
I cannot understand the problem, as most, in fact, all of my mods are client side.
Well you can try turning up the difficulty if you aren't already on the hardest. Also try fighting some zombies with their new mechanics of spawning about a billion more.
Hey guys! I was wondering if there was anything that could make minecraft, survival to be specific, faster paced? I'm a fan of action games, specifically FPS games like Battlefield and CoD. But the thing is, I really want to get back to minecraft. I took a break for about 2-3 months, and now the slow pace is killing me! I have already setup my house, been to the nether and slayed the ender dragon in my world. But I'd like to increase the pace if possible.
Minecraft is a beautiful game, and I want to be a part of it and the community in a way. I'm not saying minecraft is super slow paced, but if there was a mod or something else that can make the game a bit better at pace for combat and such, I'd be very grateful!
Thanks in advance!
P.S. I would highly appreciate it if you wouldn't tell me that minecraft isn't for me because of my demand of the game. Thank you

If you're able to fix this problem your GPU wouldn't be able run Minecraft with the shaders. You may want to consider purchasing a better GPU like from AMD or nVidia.
So... I stopped playing minecraft for about 3 months. Simply because I got bored. I'm starting to get back in the game again: started fresh, rebuilt my house etc. Then, I began to remember why I stopped, and now, I'm looking for mods that will help make minecraft more fun for me. I don't want just any mod, but mods that improve the action or give some-sorta challenge! I don't want mods that give more mobs, more ores etc. I can't find the mods I'm looking for, simply because I can't find it.
So I'm asking you guys if you can help suggest a mod that radically improves minecraft's gameplay I'd be grateful!
But the thing is... Many stuff in the prank version are actually good to have in the official game.
I agree! Many stuff like tinted glass and horses should be added to the game. Although I think that burnt-out torches should be implemented in hard and hardcore mode or something. About the horses, We would all be happy if they were created from scratch instead of re-textured pigs and cows.
I want to request the shaders mod. It is the mod that make the leaves, grass, flowers move/wave. Please tell me if this is possible.. Thank you
You think that the iPhone 5 or the S4 can handle it? Even my rig can't handle the sheer power of the mod! What makes you think that mobile devices will run it smoothly!?
