I am using 32 bit at the moment because I cannot find a download for 64 bit that complies with my system ( which is a 64 bit operating system). where would be the best place to find the proper 64 bit download?

I just bought a new computer and when Minecraft is loaded with graphics on full the game gives the error that it has run out of video memory and after the client has been restarted and played on the second time there is an instant crash. I have 1 gb of dedicated video memory and when Alt+f3 is pressed it shows no more than 500 mb being used. any solutions?
