Nov 12, 2014Posted in: Minecraft Modsreally cannot understand how someone can know so much about a mod without even taking a look at it
Point is, we used Eclipse, now do us a favor and drag your hateful little butt back to whatever little hole you crawled out of
This is really uncalled for...

++++ UPDATE: New Screenshots +++
It is very rare to find 'em all within this radius. I used a batch script to find it.
Feel free to explore this world and post screenshots and reviews.
This seed is gorgeous!
- all biomes within 2000 blocks
- 3 huge savannah plateau M biomes
- massive mesa area with wonderful bryce spot
- one of the largest birch forest M biomes (large birchs) i've ever seen, next to mesa bryce
- also lot of standard birch forests all connected north east of mesa bryce
- massive jungle in the east with huge roofed forest inside
- south east: mega taiga und mega spruce taiga
- north: ice land with spikes biome
- NO swamplands in between exept the islands north east (i hate swamps!)
- mushroom biome!
- there's even room for a massive lake/ocean with a lot if islands in it
- if you love swamplands don't try this seed
Also take a look at my other findings:

Nov 17, 2013Mr_Crayfish posted a message on MrCrayfish's Construction Mod v1.1 - A.O.E. Inspired Construction! Huge Update Beta Release!Posted in: Minecraft Mods
You've seen those instant buildings mods, right click the block and it generates a structure. I've always thought that they could be so much more better. Well I've decided to try my take on it and create something that is completely unique from the rest. Today I introduce to you my Construction Mod! How is this unique from the others? I will elaborate.
In this mod, there are 4 main items/blocks which are involved of the creation of a structure.
The BlueprintA Blueprint is the key to making any structure as it holds the plans on it. I decided this would be a great thing to implement as I wanted to get that real life feel of when constructing a building. The Blueprint can hold any plans you want. (Read Custom Buildings).
Planning TableYou can can't fly a plane without training, same with building, you can't build a structure without a plan. This is where the Planning Table comes in. The Planning Table draws the designs onto the Blueprint at the cost of a certain amount of Ink. The bigger the structure, the more Ink that is required.
Construction BlockI needed a way to translate the plans from the Blueprint to tell me the materials needed. The Construction Block can do that. It will display every required block/item needed to generate the structure. Once you have them, you can proceed to construct your building by placing the required blocks/items into the slots provided. Press the start button to begin the construction process.
The HammerThis is where I have been inspired from Age of Empires (A.O.E.). Once you have the required materials placed into the Construction Block and you have pressed the Start button, you will need to get a Hammer. You begin the construction process by hitting the Hammer on the Construction Block. Now this is where it gets very unique! Every 10 hits on the Construction Block, it will generate 1 layer starting from the bottom until you get to the top. I really liked this idea and it really sets it apart from every instant/construction mods out there.
Sorry for my mini essay but I wanted to tell you guys why this isn't your typical instant building mod. If you read this, thank you +1 me.

This mod requires Forge. To install the mod, simply drag the zip file into mods folder. This is the same for client and server.
There will be no backports, don't ask.
WARNING: Remove old building files from buildings folder. They do not work 1.7.2+
NOTE: This mod alone does not contain any Building Packs. You need to download them below!

May 30, 2014This is simply a pack that I've wanted to pursue for quite sometime now, and I've decided to make it using only the colors available in default (with one stipulation, mixing the colors found with in default, with black or white or other colors from the default pack is allowed), it aims for the final product to convey a wasteland feel using default colors, this pack will receive an update for this weekend, and then roughly 3-4 months later (due to personal circumstances, but I'll still have access to my computer, so that'll mean, a large update will come when I'm back)Posted in: WIP Resource Pack

Reasons for any "strange" textures
the reason why the diamond ore is a metal plate, is that it's actually an alien-tech strongbox, which holds rare photon batteries, which can be used to make photonic tools, the diamond block is a representation of 9 batteries bundled together, the netherbrick, will be changed into a cable work block, as soon as I get a nice looking pattern for it. Also the diamond's colors were derived from the original diamond icon, and the fire charge
May 26, 2014MCFUser754137 posted a message on I built the Sabanci Merkez mosque in survival mode. Wanted to share.Posted in: Survival Mode
For anyone doubtful whether I really did this in survival, here's the hole (and eventual lake) I had to dig to get all the sand. The dirt at the top left is where the hole met the river. I filled it in with water so it wouldn't be an ugly blight on the landscape.
I get weird flashbacks walking around the lake, of all the podcasts, documentaries, and youtube videos I listened to while doing this. I couldn't do this stuff without those.
This is by far the biggest thing I've built in SMP. It took me about 3 weeks to complete. Had I really kept at it, it could have been finished in 1. But placing torches under sand all day kinda sucks. So I started to drop off pretty quickly.
I don't plan on building with sandstone again any time soon. I could have built this thing 3 times over with any other material. I did some estimating, based on the rough dimensions of the mosque, and I think this thing required around 50-60,000 sand blocks. The domes ended up being the easiest part.
Anyone interested in seeing it up close can check it out at 188.8.131.52:25765 coordinates: X-4434 Z-223 (that's especially towards the people insisting this isn't legit. The lake is right there to the south, and the chests filled with extra supplies.)
Also, after some searching, I could find the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, but not this one. So this might be the first time this has been built. Which I think is kinda cool. It's nowhere near as beautiful as the original, sadly. There's no arabic caligraphy blocks or gold leaf for me to use But I did my best with 1x1x1m blocks.
