Would i contribute too the community: Yeah, I'm down for helping with roads, cities, whatever needs done in my spare. I can also help out with forum graphics, skins, and other art related things.
Would i be nice: Yes, i'm a pretty amiable person whose easy to get along with
just ignore them completely if you don't like them, like i do, i just check them out occasionally to see how im doing at managing my resources and what i can do to improve it.

Why you want to play here: looking for a server where i can be myself, build things that look awesome, and not deal with 12 year old immaturity and griefing.
Post/link a cool project you have done: I havent gotten in the habit of screencapping my work D: i can only give you my assurance as an artist that my creations look good. i have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of design, color theory, and consider myself to be a generally well rounded artist. if need be, i'll link you to my actual art so that you know i'm not bluffing. (my avatar is a self portrait, digital painting.)

What will you build first, and how will you make it aesthetically pleasing:(seriously, answer the second part! You will likely not get accepted without it) :
I plan to build a series of sky islands that will serve as my home. If i'm accepted, they will be lush with natural looking trees, interesting architecture, and good color choices as far as design goes. If it needs to look good for a specific texture pack that most people are using, i can do that as well.
Any additional info: I'm an artist living in Pittsburgh PA, although i've just been kicked out of art school due to financial reasons :\ I'm a generally amiable person who'se easy to get along with, i enjoy Sci-Fi anything, and Indie comics (also more minecraft than i should probably play)

I hate your choice of font on the pictures, is that papyrus? SO PLAYED OUT (just me being picky with typography, we're actually not allowed to use papyrus at the Art institute.)
I think a little more color variation on the chests and such would be fun, maybe brighten up the highlights some.

islam is a wonderful religion, even though it's been getting a bad rep as far as politics of the last few decades go, coupled with skewed views of islam presented by the MSM.

A little background info.: I'm an artist living in pittburgh, i go to the Art institute of pittsburgh, and i've been playing minecraft for about 5 months. i enjoy building and helping out the community, and if there's PVP i'll stab a griefer.
Have you been banned?: no, greifing is for angry little kids in my opinion.
Skills: Hmm, well i'm a pretty well rounded artist, i can make skins and texture packs, and my minecraft creations look good. i can link you to some cool screenshots if you wish
Reason for joining.: i'm looking for a break from my usual creative server. it's very nice, but being god kind of gets boring.
Do you like pandas? (why): First of all, best whitelist application question ever. i suppose panda's are cool, i sculpted one in my high school ceramics class out of plaster, which turned out pretty good, so i cant hate on pandas.
All this extravagant speculation aside, heres what i like about this entire concept.
The fact that this minecraft "heaven" is user created is brilliant.(which is obvious, of course, because it's a mod.) think about it this way. if notch WERE to implement some sort of parallel to the nether, the "heaven" for minecrafters would be something that was user created. he DOES care about us.
he already implemented AO, so i wouldn't be surprised if he did put this in, this is a very high quality project. 65% of the things on this forum are crap IMO, and an even higher percentage of posts are pretty much useless.
