    Hello there, I'm in the process of making a mod, nothing big, just a weapon to add to the game.

    Anyway, what I want it to do:
    when holding shift and right click for 3 seconds it plays the glass breaking sound and turns into its powered state, changing EnumToolMaterialBladeOff into EnumToolMaterialBladeActivated.

    EnumToolMaterialBladeActivated needs to have several enchantments and abilities added onto it:
    Enchants-
    1. Sharpness IV
    2. Flame II
    3. Knockback

    Abilities added to player-
    1. Speed II
    2. Jumpboost
    3. Strength II
    4. Wither (On user, not enemy)

    when shift is held and right click is held, fire extends in a ring like formation (like the fire ring scroll from the last airbender mod.)

    when shift is held and left click is pressed, I want it to shoot a ghast fireball.

    When right click is pressed, I want EnumToolMaterialBladeActivated to turn back into EnumToolMaterialBladeOff.
    All the abilities present in Activated state are no longer there and the player is left with:

    1. Slowness (1:00)
    2. Weakness (2:00)
    3. Hunger (0:30)
    4. Nausea (0:30)


    Transferring durability between tools is not an issue as both have durability of -1 (indestructible).
    So far, I have both tools stated, classified and EnumClasses for both, I just need help with making enchantments, abilities and getting it to change.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'll be sure to credit you both in the mod and my video series.

    Well, if we could get a solution to our error problem it sure would be deserving of a few diamonds.
    I've attempted to make MC mods in the past and I haven't been able to because of some messed up error like this every time I try. I posted this question on like two other forums and they have all gone unanswered so far and it really is quite infuriating.
    So if you find anything,Brycey let me know and I'll do the same.

    Okay guys, I'm trying to start out coding things and while I am quite sure I have everything done right(I only added one item so its not like I'm over my head here)For some reason, Eclipse will not let me test run minecraft. It loads up, forge runs and does it's thing then everything stops and nothing happens.     All of you guys are talking about the picture, and Grum hanging from the ceiling, but what I want to know is, what are those grey things on top of the marble slab? What ever they are is definitely makes it look like a stove... Not to mention the picture frame should be taking up that whole block and buttons cannot be placed on the ground. So what ever they are, they are smaller than a block, not buttons, and can be placed on the same block as hanging wall things like torches and item frames... hmmmmmm. -_-"

    assuming that it will call down an actual lightning strike that damages mobs and turns creepers into charged creepers and pigs into zombie pigmen, I think that this would be a wonderful idea!! I can already see a variety of adventure map uses as well as mob traps :)

    While I cant say that I like skyrim, I can say that it has a pretty awesome concept. being human and having dragon powers!? WOW! lol. But now I get to the point of this post. I think a really neat mod for our favorite blocky game would be if you could have ender powers! Now, you could use a different mod like, Shape-Shifter, or mob-guise but those mods don't really have the RPG feel I'm after. So I have a pretty loose outline for what it would be like...


    Concept:

    you have the powers an enderman has. unfortunately, you also have their weaknesses, you are vulnerable to bodies of water but your human form shields you from rain. your telleportation carries you to places normal humans cannot reach, but at first it is only limited to 10 blocks, with each level you grow you can telleport 4 more blocks, with a maximum of 120 blocks. You also have access to a power at the expense of an enderman, using 1 enderpearl you can fire a ball of energy that explodes on contact with either mobs or terrain with the force slightly greater than a charged creeper. You can also forge a blade infused with ender power.

    Powers:

    1. Ender telleport: right click on a block with an empty hand to telleport to that location given that it is at most 120 blocks away and only if your level is high enough.

    2. endergy ball: consume an ender pearl to fire a ball of energy that explodes on contact. holding an ender pearl in your hand and right click, instead of it floating off towards the nearest stronghold, it shoots the ball.


    Crafting:

    ender hilt:

    obsidian on the bottom two diamonds on the sides and an eye of ender in the middle.

    ender blade:

    3 obsidian going up from the middle.

    ender sword:

    ender hilt on the bottom middle and the ender blade on top of it.
    this sword kills normal mobs in one hit. if the mob doesnt die in one hit it is telleported 15 - 20 blocks into the air so it can fall to its death. this weapon is especially useful for taking on mobs like iron gollems which requires heavy damage, but it wont work well against the ender dragon, or the wither.



    Conclusion:

    Well thats the gist of it, like, comment subscribe lol.
    I think this could be really cool to put to use in adventure maps. I would play this mod all the time!
