I have been a faithful and long time user to Bukkit and Spigot, but, as you can see, most of the Bukkit team has left (On the Bukkit homescreen, you can see the retired staff as of now), and they are facing copyright problems (http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-discussion/discussion/2203829-all-in-one-bukkit-and-spigot-got-dmcad). As of now, with the migrations to UUIDs (A big problem with server owners) and EULA changes (Servers have to adapt to that), and even Microsoft (potentially) purchasing Minecraft, it's time to move on.
Sponge is a new server/modding API being developed and is expected to be released for 1.8.x later on. It might just be better than Spigot or Bukkit, because previous devs are moving from Bukkit/Spigot -> Sponge. Do you think it will happen?
I think it's time to move to Sponge (http://www.spongepowered.org/) server software now. As a long time Bukkit/Spigot user, it's time to say goodbye :'(. A lot of people at the Bukkit dev team left.
Also, since the first version of minecraft with "Humans" (later removed, see http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Human) is there, why not add Survival Test?

EDIT: You can do this by reporting your post, and selecting "Wrong Section".

It's Sponge (http://www.spongepowered.org/) time.
