    Quote from Epicswiftdeath

I am starting a prison server with a buddy and im very new to the bukkit plugins and im unsure what plugins are good for a prison server. I would be very grateful if i could get some posts on suggestions for the server

Can you be more specific? I see no point running a prison in MineCraft.

Or you probably meant a sort of game?

I can help out but I'm not sure to understand, you want people to "code" it for you and then send it to you? Or you want them to host it for ya?

If you're talking about creating it I can happily do it for you. :smile.gif:

Was really happy to see that 2 people joined right away and then, I realize one used X-ray vision to get 25 diamonds and 39 iron in under 10 minutes.

    Disappointed. Honestly. :mellow.gif:

    MineCraft Hauz

MineCraft Hauz is a semi-RP and semi-survival server that is run on craft bukkit. It includes many plugins such as iConomy, WorldGuard, Permissions, LWC, Showcase, SignShop, Seats and Transporter

Currently there's only like 5 active players on the server, but it doesn't mean that I haven't done a great job securing all the places from griefers. :wink.gif:

There's currently 2 worlds on the server, one that is with PvP enabled and you can pretty much destroy anybody's house and the other one is just pretty much the town, where no one's allowed to destroy / place blocks anywhere else than where they bought a house. No one is allowed to enter someone else's house unless they allow them to.

Here's some screenshots of the server:

    How to join
    1. Download and install hamachi http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/?ab=3
    2. Join the network called minecraft hauz
    3. Join 5.177.94.27
    4. Enjoy your stay!

Yes, I'm am currently using Hamachi, if you are very good at opening ports on any router, please let me know, because I really wanna open them so you guys don't have to use it.

Try converting your world files by placing them in the SinglePlayer Saves folder then going into it. The files will then convert and then, just go back and place it back in your Server Folder.

You can find your files by searching %appdata% on your computer (wrote exactly like that with the %)
then going in roaming and then .minecraft and then saves.

Place your world folder in that folder then go back in minecraft and go in the game.

    It should work.

    posted a message on Plugins?
I am hosting a server and so far everything seems to be working fine.

The only problem is that I'd like to host it with something that allows me to setup plugins so I can create a town. What I mean is that so far, I have a town that I've built using MCEdit and with the help of few friends, but I need to protect it against the griefers, allow people to secure their chests and implant a money/shop system.

    Any reccomendations?

I am currently running on MC admin which seems to work fine, but I need something else as it doesn't allow me to install plugins.

I am running on Windows Vista 64 bit.

I think you should try converting your files because since they updated the game, if you go in a world that you had created before the update, your world is converted.

The most simple thing you can do is the following: You go in your server files, place the .world folder in your save folder (right click minecraft.exe then click on Open files location) then run minecraft and play on it on single Player.

The file will convert and then you can try runnning your world again in your server folder.

Haven't tried this out, but I guess this might work. That worth a try. :smile.gif:

Make sure to copy your world somewhere on your computer to make sure you don't lose anything if it doesn't work.
