Cameron scratched his head, now very confused. He sat down in a chair, trying to figure out what was going on. Finally, he got the courage to speak up. "Woah, wait...why are we following the paths of gods...?" He looked around, wondering if he was on one of those elaborate prank shows. If so, they had really gone far with this one. "Right...so gods...that's cool..." He leaned back in his chair, and let out a huff. He rubbed his forehead, realizing it hurt a little bit from him thinking so hard.

Cameron followed the others to the library. Once he got there, he sort of stood awkwardly off to the side, not quite sure what he should be doing. His hands were stuffed in his pockets, and he was looking around the room. It seemed interesting, but it would probably get more interesting soon. At least, he hoped so.

    ((Sorry for the short post))

Cameron looked up as Sam and Lucian walked off. Even though he never learned the boys name, or at least, couldn't remember learning it, he stood up. Even though gyms weren't really his type of place, hopefully this one would be better. "Yeah, I'll..uh...I'll go as well..." He started walking away from the table, and then turned, walking fast to catch up with the other two. "So, are you a veteran here...?" He asked Sam as he caught up.

Cameron sort of sat there quietly, looking around. When he heard what the one kid had said to Sam, he started to eat. A lot, and quickly. If scarfing down food to the point where it almost hurt would get them to the magical part, well, then he'd do it. So far, he was actually liking this place. The people didn't seem bad, although he wouldn't know if they were, and the food most definitely wasn't bad. What type of magic was this anyways, he thought it was some sort of Egyptian magic, but he honestly could barely remember. Besides, if Egyptian magic was real, then their gods would be too. How silly...

"Who's Garai?" Cameron asks, having trouble pronouncing the name. He stepped inside, and looked around. Nothing too magical about the place. He shrugged, and started walking to the back of the house, assuming that's where "outside" was. The smell of food made him quicken his pace. When he got there, he saw other people were there. Good, so this place wasn't absent of people. "Oh, uh hi. I'm new..." He shifted his backpack again, feeling a bit awkward around more people.

"Uh, yeah, actually. This is the place with magic and other assortments of magical things, right...?" Cameron tried peeking his head in the door way, to see what was inside. He just shrugged, and stopped, pulling his back pack up higher on his back. "I'm uh, Cameron, by the way. Parents told me to come here...." He didn't put his hand out for a hand shake, not knowing if he should at all. For all he knew, this guy was gonna blow him up with some sort of crazy fire ball, or summon some giant demon to eat him. With that, Cameron gulped, and looked around again.

Cameron knocked on the door to the Twenty-First Nome. The trip across the country had been a long, boring one, but he had done it. A lot of driving, to say the least. He was excited to learn some magic, to say the least. He looked around, and waited for the door to open. Hopefully people would be here, as it didn't look like anyone would be. He wasn't quite sure how this would turn out, but his hopes were high.

    Application:

    Name: Cameron Collins

    Age: 15

    Gender: Male

Appearance: Average height, about 5'10". He has short, spiky brown hair, with brown eyes flaked with gold to match. He has rather pale skin, in contrast to his hair, and is pretty scrawny, never the heavy lifter of a group. Usually wears a nerdy t-shirt, long cotton pants, with a belt and brown dress shoes. (Hope a description is alright, I've never been good at finding pictures for characters. If necessary, I can try.)

Background: Cameron was born in Seattle, Washington. Both his parents were Magicians, and they did nothing to hide it from him. Naturally, he grew up used to magic, however knowing very little about it. The older he got, the more interested in it he became, a few times, even trying to attempt it himself. Luckily, his parents always caught him before he could do anything, at all. To keep him away from trying to learn magic, they pushed him to learn in school. Learning anything knew was fine by him, and this developed him into a pretty big nerd. As he aged, the bigger a nerd he became, however magic still peaked his curiousity. In school, he made friends with his work, not people. This hasn't made him socially awkward, just given him a, well, dislike of people, to put it simply. So, his life went this way for a while. Shun people, get A's.

Around the age of 13, he began begging his parents to teach him magic, each time, they said no. He practically asked them everyday, and his studying turned to day dreaming about magic, the opposite of studying. All of the sudden, he was getting B's. How horrific. At least, his parents thought so. Eventually they gave in, and decided to send him the best place they thought he coulod learn magic, the Twenty-First Nome.

    Godly Path: Thoth

Strengths: He will eventually, with practice be good at Hieroglyphic Magic. His main skill would be in using staffs and wands, with a bit of help from twine. These three tools, combined with his creativity, would allow for some interesting things. As just stated, his mind and creativity are two of his best assets. This is where he makes up for his lack of physical talent.

Weaknesses: As stated before, not very physically capable. Nor is he particularly fond of shabti, and most of the ones he make seem to be horribly deformed. This stems from his lack of hand-eye coordination. Also not good around people.

Suggestions: Oh jeez, I hope this is good...

Other: I'm a bit said I can't think of something witty about the Book of Thoth...
