If you're on a Mac you're on your own!
If a PC the entire *.minecraft folder (the MC\bin & minecraft.jar is inside it) AFTER you make a copy somewhere else.
This:
"*.minecraft"\bin\minecraft.jar"
My path: (XP)
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\.minecraft
If later than XP there is a "Roaming" in there somewhere.
The ENTIRE folder!
Without seeing your computer no!
Drag the entire MC folder to a separate directory (make one)
Then delete the original and start fresh (if it doesn't ask for your user name and password you didn't do it right!).
Start with Forge, test!
If successful add SPC, test!
Add each Mod one at a time, and test.
You may have some items in your old worlds whose item numbers have changed and are causing your problem.
I ran into that sometime back with RP.
The MineCraft bin folder or the one that I have the MineCraft program in?
I'm still having the same problem that I was with version V4.4. I install the latest release of Forge, which works just fine, then I install SPC and my game freezes when I try to load a world. It keeps getting stuck on the "Downloading Terrain" screen. Trying to create a new world gets me a black screen with the standard HUD, then freezes up.
Any ideas?
I deleted the MineCraft 1.4.5 executable jar file from the .minecraft bin folder, so I have no idea what the problem is.

Do I need to delete the MineCraft 1.4.5 executable jar file from the .minecraft bin folder?
Make sure you are using the correct context, in your command. Ie, to generate a solid sphere of Cobblestone, with a radius of five (circumference of ten), you need to type in:
//sphere cobblestone 5
You can also make a hollow sphere with //hsphere <block> <radius>.
It SHOULD be working perfectly, as I've just tested it out for myself, before replying.
I'm going to guess there's an issue with the automatic installer, then. As the only command that currently seems to be working is /gamemode [0,1,2] and the yellow text in the lower left that indicates which version of SPC is in use isn't showing up.
It patched just fine for me and Forge is working, but for some reason Single Player Commands 1.4,2 won't work. I double checked to make sure I was running version 1.4.2 of Minecraft, and I am. I did the Forge install proper and the automated install for the SPC mod. Minecraft still works and opens, it's just that the SPC mod won't activate.
Any ideas? Or do I just need to use the newest version of Forge?
Create a new world with cheats enabled.
Close that world and try to open the world that doesn't work. It fixes this about 90% of the time. Ghillamon some pages back recommends an editor that may help.
Okay.
It seems deleting the "spc" folder from your mods folder each time before you start minecraft works, too.

You can use the command blocks for that. See the command for turning off "mob griefing".
