No, most mods mods are legal. Otherwise Minecraft wouldn't be open source. And for Christ's sake guys, its not like none of us have broken a law, or committed a misdemeanor.

So, I have been trying to download technic, but I just cant. The first time I tried, it just said "Update Failed!" I tried turning off my firewall, but that didn't do anything. Please help me, I truly want to play this mod!
Okay, so today when I tried to log on to minecraft, it said that it couldn't connect to minecraft.net. After that, I searched to see if minecraft.net was down, but it wasn't. After this I tried restarting my computer, but I still had the same problem! Finaly, I re-installed minecraft and got to running the program. Sure enough, I cant log on online, but under play offline it says, "(not downloaded)"". Sow please tell me how to get back onto my servers, please!
Okay, so I just made a server, but I cant get on it! Every time I try to log on, it loads for like two seconds, then says, "connection Lost: End of Stream." Please help me, even when I try to get on to other servers, this happens.

I need some help with my server. First, I need to know how to find out my own ip (miserable, right?)so I can make a forum on it. Now second, how can I have multiple worlds on my server, so that players can go to different themed worlds.
Well, I'm pretty good. I could build the things like the arena. I'm good at large structure builds, and fountains. The only thing is that I couldn't dedicate my life to the server. I usually play from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. (Phoenix Arizona has its own time period, considering we don't do daylight savings)
