.x means that the same file will work for all minor versions (eg. 1.5-1.5.2)

You can configure the color of Glowstone Wire through the Forge interface starting on version 1.0.2.113 via Mods > Glowstone Wire > Config.
Alternatively the configuration file is located at /config/GrygrFlzr_GlowstoneWire.cfg
For 1.6.4 and below, you can also use it to change the block ID. 1.7 no longer requires block ID configurations and will automagically register the block.

    Changelog
1.0.2.113 - Support for Forge GUI Config
1.0.0.112 - New versioning scheme, Version Checker support, Partial Waila support
Build 111 - Fixes Null Pointer Exception
Build 110 - No longer overrides vanilla glowstone, uses Event Hooks to provide maximum compatibility. Now can connect to servers without the mod properly without repercussions.
Build 109 - Validates config files, avoids crashes if possible by resetting block ID/wire color values.
Build 108 - Added config files, able to edit block ID and wire color.
    Build 107 - 1.3.1/1.3.2/1.4.2/1.4.4/1.4.5 version
Build 106 - Added SMP Support, requires either Forge OR Modloader + ModLoaderMP.
Build 105 - Fixed a bug where glowstone wire drops redstone instead when broken.
Build 104 - No longer edits any base classes, completely no redstone interference, cleaned up code.
Build 103 - No longer edits RenderBlocks (uc.class), Light Level 10 and no more redstone interference
Build 102 - Added Modloader support
Build 101 - First build (Light Level 5, Redstone Interference Bug)

    Technical Details
For 1.6.4 and below, the Glowstone Wire block uses block ID 4095 by default. I doubt many mods use it, but a config file has been added so you can change the ID.
The render ID for glowstone wire is picked by Forge/ModLoader and will not collide with another mod.
Editing the redstone wire texture will also edit the glowstone wire texture.

    Installation

Forge New Launcher Installation (for players AND server owners):

Forge installation on the new launcher is now extremely easy to do!
Go grab the recommended/latest version at http://files.minecraftforge.net/, click on 'Installer' to begin downloading.
Once you have the installer, simply double click it to run the installer and choose to install the Client/Server, depending on your use.
On Windows, your mods folder will be located at %APPDATA%\.minecraft\mods.
On OS X, open Finder, click Go > Go to... and type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods/. This is your mods folder.
On Linux, your mods folder will be located at ~/.minecraft/mods.
Now put Glowstone Wire in that folder, launch the game using the Forge profile and the mod will be there.

Forge Legacy UNIVERSAL Installation (for players AND server owners):

This is the version that requires Forge. Recently Forge combined the server and client source, so now all Forge mods only need 1 mod file that can be used in both the server and client.
Go to http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the latest universal version of forge for your version of Minecraft.
    Client Install
    Windows:
    1. Go to %APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\ and backup Minecraft.jar (copy it somewhere)
    2. Open Minecraft.jar with your archiver and delete/rename the META-INF folder inside it.
    3. Open up the Forge zip with your archiver and drag all the files inside the zip into Minecraft.jar
    4. Return to %APPDATA%\.minecraft\ and create a new folder named mods.
    5. Copy/move the glowstone wire zip into the mods folder.

    Mac OS X:
    1. Go to /Users/~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/ (where ~ is your username) and backup Minecraft.jar (copy it somewhere)
    2. Open Minecraft.jar with an archive program and delete the contents of the META-INF folder. Go back to the root (main directory) of the jar.
DO NOT DELETE THE FOLDER ITSELF OR YOU WILL RECEIVE A BLACKSCREEN.
    3. Open up the Forge zip with your archiver and drag all the files inside the zip into Minecraft.jar
    4. Return to /Users/~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/ (where ~ is your username) and create a new folder named mods.
    5. Copy/move the glowstone wire zip into the mods folder.

I don't have personal experience with Linux, so this might not work...
    Linux:
    1. Go to ~/.minecraft/bin and backup Minecraft.jar (copy it somewhere)
    2. Open Minecraft.jar with your archiver and delete/rename the META-INF folder inside.
    3. Open up the Forge zip with your archiver and drag all the files inside the zip into Minecraft.jar
    4. Return to ~/.minecraft/ and create a new folder named mods.
    5. Copy/move the glowstone wire zip into the mods folder.

    Server Install
Note: This server will only allow Forge clients in.
DO NOT DELETE/RENAME THE META-INF FOLDER OR YOUR SERVER WILL REFUSE TO START.
    All operating systems:
    1. Go to your server directory and backup minecraft-server.jar (copy it somewhere)
    2. Open minecraft-server.jar with your archiver.
    3. Open up the Forge zip with your archiver and drag all the files inside the zip into minecraft-server.jar
    4. Return to your server directory and create a new folder named mods.
    5. Copy/move the glowstone wire zip into the mods folder.

Build 104+ does not edit any base files.
Build 106 requires either Forge OR ModLoader + ModLoaderMP.
Build 107 is for Minecraft 1.3.1/1.3.2/1.4.2.
Credits to: AkaSquirticus for the idea
Tell me if there is a bug. Any feature requests? (eg. less/more lighting)

You must then hand over the pages one by one, he will verify the integrity of the pages and hand you a key piece for each page. Once you obtain 8 key pieces, go to the next page of the GUI.
The Slenderman has taken away your crafting prowess, and so you must rely on the magical villager to craft it for you. Hand over the key pieces you just obtained to let him craft the key. Then, place the key on its designated spot on the other side of the road. Activate it and see the wonders...

Quick update post. I just returned from a 2 week trip, which is why you see the huge gap of no updates in those past 2 weeks.
Nearly everything on the 1.7.10 list is tested, not added merely from word-of-mouth:
Unfortunately some do slip by, though we'll remove those as soon as we can.

Botania is compatible with 1.7.10. Baubles unofficially works on 1.7.10, though I'd recommend the Princess Edition as it includes fixes for 1.7.10 and is more stable.
You should be seeing a load of updates soon to compensate for the trip. Sorry about that!

I know you guys are busy, but Climate Control has been languishing on the request list for almost 2 months and that seems like an awfully long time. The first version I posted hung about 1 time in 3 when creating a world (Minecraft was running out of some resource during spawn location selection) and maybe that made you skip it (although a note would be nice) but that problem has since been fixed AFAICT. The mod lets people shrink the enormous climate zones that bug so many in 1.7, plus provides a lot of other world control parameters, and I'd think it would be of fairly broad interest.

Ah, sorry about that! I've added both Climate Control and ExplorerCraft to 1.7.2.

    Ha!
The queue hasn't moved in several weeks, TotalRPG is still at the bottom. Sure you guys are busy, but not even single mod removed from the queue ?

We don't work from bottom to top as a lot of those are actually slip-ups from 1.6.2 and older submissions. We try to get through as many as possible. There is a changelog for every version and a recent changelog on the homepage.

    Quote from fabricator77
List is pretty useless for tracking 1.7.2 mods, as the majority are in the queue now, and that includes 2 of my 3 mods.

There are 66 1.7.2 mods in queue of which some are duplicate, and 158+ mods currently listed.

    Quote from fabricator77
And yet random mods get added to the list, no doubt the result of the author getting into the IRC chat and submitting it that way.

No one else even visits the channel, actually.

    Quote from fabricator77
I'd help if I could, but between fixing the odd bug in my mod, fixing hardware faults, and other brain testing things. I have very little time left, which is better spent helping other modders with the change to 1.7.2.

I'm sorry if I have ever offended you in any way. I will do my best to improve.

Is there a how long does it usually take for new mods to get added? I'm not trying to be naggy but I'm concerned that maybe the form didn't submit properly (browser bug maybe) so I'm submitting my mod info again here:

I maintain the modlist in my free time, so there is no ETA. You also submitted that 2 days ago, and this is exactly why I point you to a list of submissions before giving you the form. :P

What do I have to do to get listed? I posted my ExplorerCraft mod over a month ago.

Your mod was sent in as an update request on 15th October 2013 when there was no previous entry for it. I was not the one who handled that submission, but will add it later today. done :P

In case some of you are wondering why mods aren't the list yet, I went on holiday for a week and am now handling a backlog of that week, so I'll need some time to catch up. Hopefully the backlog will be complete by Tuesday.

Well that was the idea for it was that you would have to craft it a certain way. I did not do any shapeless recipes on purpose. So will you submit this or no?

It's already in review process, we just needed to make sure it worked.

    Quote from TheRad

Is it possible for you guys to create a comprehensive spreadsheet of which IDs are modified by the mods and host it along with your mod list? For example, if 2 mods both try to use ID 4000 it would be very clear on the spreadsheet. It would also help mod developers make their mods generally more compatible with other popular mods and generally help unify the community.

Several problems I can immediately see:
-1000+ mod entries x undefined amount of blocks. Could be zero or even hundreds of new stuff.
-Some mods allow changing of ID which makes this pointless
-Updates that add, remove or change block/item ID numbers - should we show the latest version? Should the versions be separated?
-Some mods (ab)use metadata heavily to cram 16 different blocks in one ID
-General confusion over item ID shifting
    -Some mods override vanilla items
It's a great idea but the execution would need a LOT of work. I would use a dedicated system instead of a spreadsheet for this.
If this was made community based we'd have the problem of:
    -Moderating everything
    -Trolls
    -Wrong information
    -Arguments about said wrong information
    -Version inconsistencies
    -Lazy/Inconsistent markup
    -Security issues
    -Logins and whatnot
