my router page says that my wan is 10. something (don't want to show the rest) if I do not port forward 25565, I could not use my that ip address to access my server but if I do port forward it, I am able to access my server with that IP. This Ip address is not the same as those shown in http://canyouseeme.org/ or http://whatsmyip.net/. My friend said that he could not get in. I am using Cisco dpc2325.
I am having problems with port forwarding and opening it online. websites like http://ipchicken.com/ and other similar sites show me that my public ip address is 114.108.222.173 and my proxy is 182.18.209.2. I am using the router cisco dpc2325. I port forwarded my port starting at 25565 and ending at 25565 at both protocols at my local ip address 192.168.0.10. I tried opening my server and test it but it could not reach the server.(I left the server-ip in the server properties file blank). Please help me. I believe I made the local ip static. I am not such a super tech guy. Thanks.
