    Possible games from this concept:
    Tower defense (Players can shoot bows with different buffs at the zombie)
    Are you smarter than a zombie? (The player tries to beat the zombies record of beating the maze without running into dead ends or something)
    This is really cool, I want MCedit so badly :P

    Bad idea... Never dig straight down lol
    At the start of the game I go cave spelunking, since it yields a ton more iron than branch/tunnel mining. I get about a stack and make my tools and etc.. Then I usually make a 2-wide staircase (and high enough so that I don't bump my head) down to level 9, then I mine out a large room, then start branch mining. Eventually i clear away everything and it looks like a strip mine. Also I eventually put stairs on my mines when i feel like it.

    Wow, this is a great idea. I hope Mojang sees this, as many have said. Can you provide a rough sketch/model of a Spire? I really like this, i hope that if it is put into Minecraft it is the same as what was posted. Also I think that someone should make this into a mod first, and would draw more attention. Maybe it would be a nice challenge for the guy who made mo' creatures.
