If I could submit one feature request for AE2 it would be an option to do forge dictionary unification on, especially, ores and ingots that are stored in the ME system.

Well, hello! Need some help with native ore clusters. I've got Industrial Craft2 and Thermal Expantion, and they both have copper and some other same ores. So, when i smelt ore cluster i have IC2 ingots. How can i change it to the TE ingots? Thx!

It is annoying and there is no proper fix for it. Despite the ore dictionary, each of the mods machines will tend to create its own ingot type, and the Infernal Furnace picks one of the available ingots when smelting a native cluster.

    You can,
    a. pipe the ingots into jabba barrels. The first ingot of a particular type will set the type for the barrel, but it will accept other compatible ingots converting them all to be the storage type.
    b. combine the ingots into a block, and then split the block. Blocks of Copper may, or may not, uncraft into a desired ingot type.
    c. use some other mods forge dictionary unifier. There are several. But I don't really know them because I go with
    d. Stop worrying about it. You'are going to end up with Copper Ingots and Copper Ingots and Copper Ingots with a few Copper Ingots in your storage. They are all substitutable in recipes so try to use up the lesser quantitied ones and deal with the needless duplication.

A dual suggestion for next version: Let the fire focus set blocks on fire. To help counter the forest fires etc., let the frost focus extinguish fire blocks (destroying the frost shard), and perhaps even put out burning mobs/players.

That would be way to destructive near wooden structures, or in forests...

I think the fire focus should however:
    1. burn fibrous taint
    2. melt ice
    3. ignite portals

I would initially have said that the problem speaks to issues with OpenGL on your wifes PC. But the later description of the problems experienced by Guest PC"s" speaks more to a configuration mismatch between server and client.

    As such:

    1. check that everyone is using the same build of forge.

    2. copy the ~/.minecraft/config folder from the server (your) to all the client PCs to force the configurations to match.

As an aside, an awefull number of resources go into making 2 pieces of fluix cable.

All my minecraft builds are annoyingly compact - I never have space to do anything, but I find that cabling restrictions make me design machines around very very compact layouts with everything co-located.

I feel therefore that, making mundane cabling a "lot" cheaper would have the counter intuitive outcome of allowing more extensively planned builds while not effecting the core balance of requiring more resources for more - actual - capabilities.

@Benimatic: Please consider adding support for Azanors Baubles mod. If I die with a Charm of Keeping III my inventory is preserved EXCEPT for the bauble items which drop.

Thank you, I didn't know that; I don't have a Mac. That'll make it easier to help a few people. If you don't mind I'd like to add that notation to that spoiler since there are several mods that require Java 7 or above and this really messes many up. Your fix is so much easier.

    I dont mind at all.

The minecraft.dmg that OSX users use to install minecraft embeds a copy of Java 1.6 in the launcher bundle.

Instead, OSX users that intend to run modded, should download the "other os" minecraft.jar launcher for Linux. This will actually use the registered version of Java.

So, I've been working on the Thaumcraft pages at the Curse Minecraft Wiki! They do not have full reference lists (such as mobs, items, or recipes), but I've tried to collect a lot of generally useful information on all the main topics -- I just finished Infusion. Feel free to drop by and improve things or leave comments.

Farproc: So, putting another hungry chest in front probably wouldn't work.... I do have a hopper underneath my sorting-room's hungry chest (leading to a normal chest on the side), hopefully that doesn't count. Sounds like I should stick a gather golem in there to handle overflow.

I am certainly not trying to dissuade you, but thaumcraft wiki efforts are now:
http://ftbwiki.org/Thaumcraft_4 - On the unofficial ftb wiki
http://wiki.feed-the-beast.com/Thaumcraft_4 - on the official feed the beast wiki
http://thaumcraft4.wikia.com/wiki/Thaumcraft4_Wiki - the most well maintained of several wikia wikis.
    and now:
    http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Mods/Thaumcraft

I just want ONE of them to list the technical details of how infusion is actually balanced.
