I really like the stone slab. The only thing I don't like is that you can't put othe blocks on top without the top block floating.
If I wanted to put a brewing stand on a half slab, the stand would float above the slab.
I want placing blocks on bottom half slabs to be implemented because it would be great to make detailed buildings with this method. There can be cash registers made out of a slab and stairs, and half slabs as bottom blocks.
That's really all I want. Minecraft is something I don't suggest much for because mods add the content I want.
Edit: Just for the record. I KNOW that this would mean a whole recode of all the blocks and grid system.

I need a 1.7.10 RP server. one with a theme that doesn't make my character look like a time traveler.
Specifically I want a modern server. Medieval servers make my character stick out in the crowd, like I don't belong.
I want to stay true to my timeline.
I would also like a friendly environment with people who are willing to RP as family members, but that's optional if nobody does.

My favorite starbound monster monster is the Poptop.
I actually think they're adorable despite the location of the mouth and the fact that they are hostile.
They honestly look like little girls. And they sing too! I want to tame one in real life!

I used to play War of the Monsters for ps2 with my brother. But we ended up fighting because I always wanted to kill his character.
Now we basically don't play Co-op (or multiplayer) games together.
