    Ya you do have a point. Every mob doesnt need a hostile counterpart. But ehh i just though it would be a good idea

    Bats

    Right now Bats in minecraft are "asthetic" mobs. They're just in caves and if you get close enough they fly away. They don't even attack you, they just fly away. But, I think to make things more challenging we can have two differant types of bats. The regular bats that are non-hostile. Then, we could have hostile Vampire bats!

    Vampire Bats

    The differance between the two would be that the Vampire bat would be black (the regular bat is brown) and it would be slightly bigger. Also whenever you get close to the Vampire Bat it'll start flying towards and starts attacking you. They will only spawn in areas considered as "caves" in light level 7 or lower. The bat would have 10 health points. On Easy mode it'll do 2 hearts of damage, on Normal Mode it'll do 2 hearts of damage, then finally on hard it'll do 4 hearts of damage. The effect the Vampire Bats have is that on every mode except for easy mode when they deal damage on you it'll add hearts to thier health. Like I said they have 10 health so when they deal damage to you it will add a heart. So then it becomes 11 and 12 and so on and so forth. It's recommended that you kill that very quickly.     I agreeHow I think Witches should spawn is maybe 100 or blocks or so theres a chance of spawning a new structure called the "Witch's Hut" Where only Witches could spawn. (Like how Wither Skeletons can only spawn in Nether Fortresses) Or something

    3)Well if you have the Wither as a high level enchantment theres still a chance of you having other enchantments that will make any sword OP. That's why the Wither Sword would be the only sword to get the Wither Effect. So its actually worth making.

    1) How is it wierd. Its basically the crafting recipe of swords. A stick and two diamonds,iron,stone or whatever yu want.

    3) Also if wither was a enchantment it would be to OP. Imagine fire aspect, wither effect, and sharpness you would die in like one hit. That's why it being on only one sword and that sword being the Wither Blade is good because also you cannot enchant the Wither Blade.

    Think about the finished sword design like this: The Star will be the handle, the skull will be resting directly ontop of it, the obsidian would be the actual blade, and the blaze rods create somewhat of a blaze aura around the blade, like a light glow.

    The Wither I effect should be applied to a mob only 25 percent of the time, and the other 75 percent of the time a mob should be affected by Flame I/ II. The blade should not be enchantable, as even with my alterations, it is probably still too overpowered to some people.

    Thoughts?


    I dont know bout the craftin g recipe. I think its hard already. In order to craft this sword you would have to create and kill the Wither Boss to get the Nether Star. And you would have to get 2 Wither Skull heads from Wither Skeletons after. (Wither Skeletons in the snapshots so far are extremely rare anyway. Which may change in the upcming updates though)
