Wonderful idea with using the log piles. Looks pretty good too. I went with the "Direwolf20 9x9" with a ring of stone bricks as the spider ledge.
I think i need t watch more of this guys videos, Kinda with we had a mortar item we could use on cobble to make it stronger/ not effected by gravity for a set amount of distance.
my first map spawned me next to a lava lake. Only, after i mined all the andesite the vmc way did i realize it was used in its natural form for an anvil fml. Still, very fun mod, keep up the good work :]
Just encase any one is still watching this thread, I found a way to change the biomes. http://www.minecraft...es/page__st__20
This nice standalone tool lets you change the biome down to a single block :]
EDIT: Also, this generator still works, Minecraft just needs to convert the map first, no big deal.
Very nice, could planting the reeds on their respective ore decrease grow time but slowly eat away ate the ore block? to make this a tad less op, planting could be done this way. maybe add a crafting recipe for diamond and coal ore so farms can be built where the player wants them.
Idea:
For the sapling problem/debate Why not have trees grow with a few leaves but have the rain (presumably not fit to help anything at this point) destroy leaves? Kinda like acid rain/ there just to weak to hold on.
In the year of 1337, Only the strongest buildings from the before time have stood the trials of mother nature. This, the once Grate prison of Minecraftia, is one such structure. With is solid iron door still intact and functional, The last remaining Mincrafian has found it a formidable fortress against the creatures of the night.
