I'll look into it, although it sounds like it could be an issue with how you are modding your jar. I personally use MagicLauncher to load all of my mods (including Durability101) and recommend you try it if the problem persists.

I am using magic launcher, However, i'm not using the default minecraft directory. I have my minecraft running on a ramdisk. but that should not matter.

Well, not even injecting the vanilla files directly into the jar file seems to work. It simply won't work, and it bugs me, becasue I did NOTHING, suddenly one day it stopped working. Hell, forge stopped detecting it in the mod folder!

Same for me, using only forge and this mod, It was simply not working.

:o I did not know this was the case. I'm normally up to date with the snapshots, I guess IC2 has kept me more engrossed than I thought :P
Well, congrats on this mod anyway It really feels like how maps should have worked!

Very nice mod, I prefer using the vanilla maps over minimap mods because they feel like cheating. I have an idea for you as well.
This might break a good bit of your current code but what if the default map recipe made a "Blank Map" that could stack up to 16. and right clicking with a blank map would center it where you are standing. These blank maps could also be the item used when copying maps or making the aligned maps. A question for you as well, would it be possible to name the map we make rather than have "Map #"?

    Yes, it is.

ok, was just making sure. One more question then, with forge using FML, is Risugami's modloader now not needed? I had installed both forge and R's modloader the first time, only to realize after that forge used FML now.

I use the latest recommended version of Forge and it works fine for me. I will definitely look into these errors that people are having with Forge in relation to my mod.

Quick question then, forge is required for your mod right?

    Bug found!

I installed ModLoader, Forge 3.0.1.81, TFC bvij hotfix 2, guava-11.0.1 it loads and world seems to gen ok, but I cannot break a tree, If I use fist it seems nothing happens, if I use an axe, the axe takes damage but the log remains and breaking animation just loops while I am trying to break it. Have tried on several different trees. Any ideas?

I tried with a copper hammer on a stone anvil and no luck. Tried a tin hammer on a bronze anvil and it worked.

Ah, i meant to say copper anvil, not copper hammer. Congrats on solving your problem :D

Alright, just tested something out and I'm a bit perplexed. In order to work unshaped bronze you need a bronze anvil. To get a bronze anvil you need to fuse two bronze bars.....Am I missing something?

I think copper can work bronze, but i still haven't found tin yet.

    Hi Bioxx,

Not sure if you are aware that TFC is currently not working with forge .99
Not sure if it has to do with the recent changes to do with mob spawning at heights.. anyways it all starts and runs but on world gen\load it crashes.. i am not at home so i dont have a crash report for you.. ill edit once i get home to get the crash for you.
I have currently downgraded to .95 and it works :P

He hasn't updated the forge yet, recommended build is still Forge 3.0.1.81 like it says in the downloads section

Frankly this mod would have been a lot more enjoyable if the trees dropped the saplings and sticks as with their log counterparts instead of having to harvest each and every leaf before killing the tree. Not only this but not being able to make sticks from planks was rather annoying as well.

the lack of stackability in the fireplace for cooking was kinda meh as well. It would have worked better to have a system in place so you didn't have to hand cook every last item even if it only took one item from a stack at a time and made you stand there, constantly having to do each individual thing was kinda boring and trying on my patients. I did like the other features of this mod though as it gave a great feel having so many different wood types and ore types and metal forging was the tops where i can understand doing each piece by hand.

The sticks thing i can kinda agree with. However once you rustle a few tees naked, sticks aren't that much trouble.
The fire pit is tier 1 on the scale of cooking surfaces, the forge is a rather efficient way to cook food and make torches once you build it.

    Found a bug.

I put a piece of raw beef into my cooking pit and it was stuck at very hot with no logs ever being put in it.
