Server was just started last week, Customized world gen includes increasing dungeon rate to 100 (regular worlds are set at 7, its very easy to find double, triple, and even quadruple spawners in a very small area, often within just blocks of one another.. Ocean depth was decreased to 40 so ocean monuments are partially exposed..Very cool to look at and would make an easy awesome way to build within..,biome size was decreased 1 degree (making it easier to find multiple biomes within smaller areas. Custom loot tables as well, all mobs will drop heads at a varying degree of drop rates, (xisumavoid has video on this and it was his coding that allows this) Loot in chests has also been tweaked to allow more loot to be in them. Farms are being made to help get you started. Spawn is basically at 0, 0. So, its easy to hop in the nether and be on your way to far out places. We have the following farms in place already, albeit..they are not exceptionally pretty..but they are just there to help you get going) Sheep farm in all 16 colors, chicken cooker/breeder, all crops (except mushrooms at thisd point ) are readily available. Area around spawn is being saved as to build a spawn house.. Any takers? Wiould like to build a nether hub as well...any takers? Many beautiful biomes withing just a short walk... Nether portal at/near 0, 0 so its going to be easy for you to pick a direction and off you go. would love to have a shop area...

I will consider anyone wanting to help after getting to know ya a little. The entire player base will be part of upcoming decisions. We can consider adding a few mods at a later date when they become stable on 1.12...if that's what we would like to do as a community. Nothing major though Im talking just a few...
As far as rules please let me be clear...I personally have a 5 year plan for my server with things I want to do as I learn as well...I will consider any age...dependent on younger players having permissions from parents...If we do get younger kids on please just be a little mindful of your language.. we can learn a lot from one another.

5. If we want the server to get bigger and grow I can say up front that I can not afford more that the 25 to 40 slots I have purchased. If we think we want to become bigger than that we will need to figure a way to monetize an income to pay for the server. But as of now... Its all good
6. you can set up private discord etc..to talk to other players if you so choose. I will not be offering a server discord channel until I know the specifics about everyone on the server and feel as though if there are younger players on that they wouldn't be put in a position of hearing/listening to "adult speak" I dont know how else to say it.
the 350 blocks around spawn in every direction are off limits.. we will be building a community area there as well as a spawn house. there will be a shopping/trading district.. which is going to be fairly close... but I haven't mapped it out yet. I haven't mapped anything yet as I have not even opened the world. We will see what we can do to offer everyone the chance to have input about things going on on the server. where every player gets a vote on upcoming events. I will however say that for the first 2 weeks, I think we should work on out own bases and preparing for a long stay in the world.
there should be nothing much to getting on , if accepted I will whitelist you and you may pop on...building bases are going to be on a first come first choice basis. You may need to look around in all directions to see if anyone has staked a claim yet. IOf you want to stake a claim please put 3 blocks high with a sign on the top block with your name and a general area you want and then the date

you can use additional signs and maps if you like.
every block placed and broken leaves a trace even if its no longer there...so please don't break others base signs or add an earlier date to yours etc... if I have to get involved to find an issue to solve it, the person who tried to get away with something is the one who will be ip banned.
You can take any supplies you need from around spawn , if you cut a tree down.. replant a sapling. you can go underground and dig for a few supplies but no strip mining.. and just take what you need and move on.. cover up you creeper holes, and digging holes please. you can put up a double chest asking for donations if you need certain blocks, and /or put a chest down for items you freely want to give away. at this time it will just have to be near the spawn point but make it look nice please. when no longer needed remove
in the coming weeks first day I will take applications for shops will be Saturday the 13 , May, 2017. if you want to build a shop for trade you can send me a quick note and let me know your idea.. we will agree on a place to build...I don't want to have 2 shops of the same type as to create problems so be specific with ideas of what you want to sell/trade in your note to me.
If you become unhappy in any way that makes you want to be rude or mean.. just leave and don't come back...

I am wondering if you could tell me if I have a server and have mods on my server.. do the payers I invite have to have those mods installd as well or do they simply join the server with the Ip address etc.. sorry for such a noob question but I don't know how else to explain it thanks a million looking forward t joining your hosting company this afternoon
If y'all are not wanting to kill the evokers and vindicators, because they wont respawn then I would suggest luring them into rooms and just blocking off the door so they have to stay in that room... that way youknow you've got at least that many, and you can either kill the others or. trap them too. I hope they fix it to where they will respawn after the others are killed but I can see why dev's have it that they don't respawn because it really could be pretty OP if you could farm these guys.. the XP is awesome, and the totem of undying from the vindicator is seriously a game changer. I can see why they wouldn't want us to exploit those situations..
I personally am loving exploring.. I am more into that kind of game... so I am pretty excited... did you know that mobs can pick up the totem of undying and be saved from death... YES they can I tested it after it happened in my smp world and I thought maybe it was a fluke.. so I put it to the test in our test world and YES it works....it just has to be a mob that can pick up items
im working on trying to get my butthead zombies to become equipped with the curse of unbinding and some really crappy enchants to see if it changes the mechanics much.. imagine if creepers could ne cursed lol have fun guys..
Brand new server: STEAMPUNKIN, will be started when 1.11 is fully out and stable. Server will be whitelisted 24/7 . I am looking for admins and moderators to help me out. We can hold up to about 40 members at this point so I think we should have at least 4 admins and 4 moderators...

I am a retired school teacher who still volunteers...but I spend a lot of time online playing minecraft, that being said, I am still fairly new at it..

Its working now that im in 16w40a I am using golden aplles and its working maybe my old game just didn't like me lol
