    Is there a way to completely remove a focus from the caster's gauntlet? I have a "Break" focus (and that's it right now) and when I activate the infusion altar I break the matrix... and that's fine, I'll make another fire focus or something and try again, no biggie, this is just out of curiosity.


    (Neither here nor there: I am so happy that Beta 12 is here, I took the day off work to play with it. Now THAT is how you do "irresponsible".)

    Yup, I can't do Golems or Infusions either and I lost my first focus from switching to a new one (and crashed the client). I've researched and solved the whole "vague vis crystals" thing for alchemy (editing the json in the jar). Broken stuff is exactly what I expect... I just like to verify that I'm not the only one having the problem (because sometimes that is exactly the case and I just need to be course-corrected).

    I don't mind any of it. I'm super excited that it's actually on 1.12 and I get to play with it a bit... well, I get to do the research and break down items to get my warded jars filled up. A broken beta 11 (or b12 or b27 or b45) Thaumcraft for 1.12 is WAY better than no Thaumcraft at all for 1.12 :)

    Is the Thaumatorium currently broken in Beta 11?


    (@ anybody prepared to jump down my throat for not searching the 2000 page thread... *I did* and I found nothing about the Thaumatorium not working except one case where it had to do with heat but that's not my problem)


    I set it up, hit it with salis, the thing transformed and gave me my construct, I opened the GUI and gave it an Iron Ingot and... no recipe option. I've tried it with water in and out of the crucible beneath. Tried it with pipes, with the emptying transfuser, tried it with different catalysts and nothing. I've tried placing a single ingot as well as a stack, I've shift-clicked the items in and out and manually placed and removed them too. All that and still no options for recipes.


    I have a warded jar full of Instrumentum sitting right next to it (I've moved that around to try different things and I've tried piping into every available opening of the Thaumatorium).


    For heat, I've used: Lava source block, lit netherack, and nitor. All correctly placed but no recipes.


    Oh and I placed a mnemonic matrix on it for good measure (still nothing though).

    Yeah, I get it, I really do. But this thing here? It's got almost 2000 pages and my past experience with searching for answers to questions I have in this thread? It's not good. In this case, it's a rather unique situation for me - the pseudo answer was at the top of the previous damned page.

    In the end, I scanned a Fire Bat after getting hit with it and also tried scanning a Ghast Fireball as it was incoming (nothing) as well as the Ghast. I honestly think scanning the Fire Bat was the answer because now things are unlocked and I got hit by NOTHING else.

    Hey all, I'm trying to complete the basic auromancy and I need to have discovered "a normal projectile" in addition to building the focal manipulator.


    I built the manipulator and placed it in the world. I built the caster gauntlet and have scanned it. I have a blank lesser focus. I have scanned splash potions, arrows, fire charges, bows and nothing seems to register as having discovered "a normal projectile".


    What exactly do I need to discover before I can complete the basic Auromancy research? (or is this not complete yet in Beta 11?)

    When I look up this mod in JEI, nearly every image is that wonky, ugly error image. How do I fix it so that the correct mod images are showing up? It's only happening with this mod (Ice and Fire).

    A crash recently ate my enhanced charm of dislocation and creating a new one did not restore my (extensive) list of teleport locations (including my underground factory!)



    Please... please tell me there is a file somewhere on my computer that has a list of those locations... something I can edit with a Notepad or something like that...

    I am trying to combine a view cell with a fuzzy card and I must be doing something wrong because it does not have the impact I expect it to.


    Got RFTools installed. A metric crap ton of dimlets in my AE system, they all share the same item ID (5937) but have different meta (5937:385... 5937:121). I created a view cell, configured it in the cell workbench with a single dimlet and then tossed in a fuzzy card. Popped the view cell in my ME Crafting Terminal and all it did was filter the single, very specific dimlet I configured the cell for in the workbench.


    So I tried changing the split percentages. Same results at every one: the view cell only ever shows me the single item I added to it.


    How do I get this view cell + fuzzy card combination to ignore meta data and show me everything with a similar item ID?

    My Steve is a Witchery vampire. Doesn't need air. Went to the moon even still with a full gear setup and two (full - I double-checked) Heavy Air Tanks.


    And I died because my "oxygen setup was invalid". So I went back without the kit, just with my non-air breathing vampire. And died again because "oxygen setup was invalid"


    If I don't need air, I probably shouldn't be dying due to lack of it.

    Is there a way to craft my own "No Rain" dimlet? I don't see anything that absorbs weather and countless stacks of unknowns (and plenty of scrambling) have not got me this one dimlet so I'm hoping I can make it myself.

    My issues have all been resolved.


    Needed NBT Explorer to fix the too much damage bug which does not appear to have been caused by Blood Magic. Potentially (maybe, I can't confirm it) Advanced Genetics. Anyway. All set now.
