Still working on it... But not much to show anymore since this is mostly scripts and interactions with the world. But rest assured that the work is being done !
Want a release date? Hmmm I would say july/august, if i'm being realistic
And I'd say june, if I have a lot of free time and not a lot of bug to go through ^^
I really can't wait to finally finish this city, i'm so excited to show you guys !
I didn't count the number of hours I spent on this project since the beginning, but it must be like... 3000 hours, maybe more... everything seem so easily done when it's in your head, but once you have to actually create it, it's really something else...
See you guys later this month for more news/update !
Umm.....sure...the easiest way to make it possible, is to kill the player OnLoad ^^ Otherwise....I could try to create a better solution for that....just give me a few days ^^
Oh thanks a lot !! =D You're awesome
Yeah I thought of killing the player but it doesn't seem very clean x) But i'll use it, if you find nothing else
You have to open the control panel while adventure craft is open, right click on AC, and choose from there.
Allocating more ram didn't work for me, so I tried all sort of ways (I really lost my temper once or twice thinking I would have to go back and make the NPCs not walk lol) and after hours and hours of testing I found this solution :
It may look suspicious but it works !!! (it removes all NPCs paths block, and then put them back up).
Puck, I have a question : is it possible to do a script that makes the player start from the spawn points when we load a file ? (and not from where we quit the game)
Struggling with NPCs paths, and making NPCs walk... It's really a pain in the ass.
I managed to make a ton of NPCs walk, with fluidity, and without anything freezing...... before realizing that whenever I load a pre-existent save, the game crashes (because there's too much NPC walking).
So now I have to figure out a way to make them walk without AdventureCraft crashing anytime I load a save.
I only see one solution. But it means I have to remake so much of the stuff I have already done T_T

The city's sewers are full of surprises...
Pucky, I have three other questions, since my inbox doesn't seem to work...
1) How do you replace water's textures ?
2) How do you make animated textures ?
3) Is there a way to make the player die if he goes inside water ? But just in a specific area ?

No I'm not, why ? Do you think it would help to use more ram ?
But if I use more ram, AC would crash anyway for all of the other players who download the map unless they also use more ram, no ?

I also have the same problem...
