Here are my comments and fixes, written down as I play through!

    Playthrough Comments:

    • Ok, we start in a box room, definitely an intro before the actual gameplay. I like the fact that you pointed out which textures are from where, I've never seen that before! Stepping on the teleport pad now!
    • OH my goodness that opening scene scared me! Nice background noise with that!
    • Haha, I like the noise it makes when you interact with people; BLOOP.
    • I also like the atmosphere sounds around you, that's fantastic!
    • Thanks for the cake, Uncle Jojo! I didn't need it but I ate it all like the pig that I am!
    • I haven't heard this version of the village music before, nice!
    • What's with all the chickens?.... Just kidding :smile.gif:
    • Caveman and Treeman are a riot!
    • Hello all you Lulu people! Lonlon, you're very rude. YOU'RE stupid.
    • OOO timed jumping puzzle on the city hall! NICE!
    • The hurted man and the mayor have herebrines eyes! creepy..
    • I found a secret key, yay!
    • Hmmm what does that switch activate?... I THOUGHT so. Gimme that sword!
    • Pardon me everybody I am going to break all your pots and mow your lawns.... are these chickens invincible?! NOOOOOO
    • Oh cool! Secret ladder! Apples and bread, this must be my lucky day!
    • Ahh ok, 40 copper coins is a silver coin, nice conversion!
    • Awesome I got a lantern! Now to go into that hole
    • YUCK! I hate rats.. thanks for the trigger bridge!
    • Alright! A bow, quiver, and a key! Yea!
    • That's right you stupid guard, let me through.
    • Sorry, farmer, I kinda already trampled all your crops.. and took your porkchops
    • Hello strange man, where did you come from? sure i'll look at the tree!
    • Wonderful music for the Great Tree Fields!
    • Big tree! How do I get inside?
    • I'm in a restaurant? ******** you're definitely my sister. So many delightful people to talk to!
    • There's a monster in the lake? I don't believe you..and there isn't... just an empty room?
    • Awww the big water thing in the big lake killed me :sad.gif:
------And that's where I'm stopping for now as I ran out of time :\
But I will hopefully have time to resume later! Thanks! :smile.gif:

Also, how do I set spawners to only spawn the item or monster once?

To do that, you just have to use the memory block, it permits to activate things only once :smile.gif:

You should know though that since the first version I learned a lot about scripting and adventurecraft, so it would be normal that you find some minor mistakes in the current version :smile.gif:

    Jojo's Incredible Adventure
    V 0.3.5

    (old name : CouCouCouCou)

    Version 0.3.5 is out ! (03/07/2017 Edit)

Okay so I finally finished this version, which doesn't add much, but fixes a lot, and will make your game experience a lot smoother and more pleasant.
The second dungeon (the Prison) is easier and clearer. A map has been added, as well as teleporter to better navigate the dungeon, and an easier final boss.

I also added a new sidequest, that is kind of important, and revisited some dialogues.
It was a lot of work, even if it does not appear so, but it was worth it because you can now play this game without any problem !
If you find any other bugs (sig) that I didn't find, please report it on the thread.

    What's Jojo's Incredible Adventure ?

Jojo's Incredible Adventure is not a regular map. It would actually be more correct to qualify it as a game, wether than as a map. It has musics, scripts, cutscenes, main quests, secondary quests, custom mobs, dungeons with their own atmosphere, evolving places, dynamics dialogues, secrets, a currency system, special objects, etc...

It is very much a Zelda-like game, with the same mecanisms, and the same sense of progression, even though it is not the same world at all :D

Jojo starts its quest in a small village. He will then have to travel around different cities, dungeons, talk to all sorts of (stupid) people, solve all sorts of enigmas, in order to elucidate a big conspiracy that leads to the Great Emperor...

Why does this mysterious stranger gives orders to Jojo?
What secret does he hope to find?
    What's behind Jojo's past?
And why is everyone so rude with Jojo?

You'll discover all of this, and far more if you play Jojo's Incredible Adventure !

    Adventure Craft Installing

For those who don't already know Adventure Craft, here are a few infos :
You have to download it if you want to play this map, because it allows a lot of things that vanilla minecraft doesn't allow, like music, scripts, etc...

It is a stand alone mod, which means it will not affect your minecraft files, nore anything minecraft related. You can just install it, and it will run by itself.

Now, how to install it, step by step ? (it's REALLY simple)

    Download Adventure Craft

    Right here :
    Adventure Craft

Extract the AdventureCraft folder from the zip file

Open the AdventureCraft file and click on Start.bat (dont use the .exe, it doesn't work)

Here you go ! You can finally play my map B)

    Map Installing

Adventure Craft maps installing is done the same way than a minecraft map. Once you installed Adventure Craft, dowload my map, unzip it, then copy it in the map directory of your Adventure Craft file.

Now you just have to open Adventure Craft, click on New Save, open my map, and you're good to go !

    Version 0.3.5

Duration : 6 hours or so.
Content : You will find many scripts, breakable pots, cutable grass, money system, lots of secret area and hiden chests. In brief, a whole world to explore. My advice to you is to take your time and not to rush the main quest.
There is for the being 6 areas :

    Orion Village (30 mn)
A tutorial village, where you get in possession of a sword and a bow before you go and live an adventure.

    Great Tree Fields (45mn- 1h)
It is one of the main areas of this game, which evolve according to your progression, and where you will have to come back on a regular basis. As a consequence, there are many locations you can't access, because they will be available later.

    The Great Tree (45mn - 1h)
A simple first dungeon in the Great Tree.

    RCIST Town (1h-2h)
A big town full of RCIST who devoted their life to destroy foreigners.

    The Crossroads (5 mn)
An area where the different places converge and where we can access to the capital city.

    The Prison (2h)
A complex second dungeon full of enigmas, which will give you some challenge.

    Let's play

Let's play by Aquasyris (french) :

Let's play by Gurunext (english) :

Let's play by Zoctos (french) :

    What's next

    • Making the Fourth version of the game. It will contain a really large city, in which will take place the next part of the story, lots and lots of side quests, mountains, and many explanations to the questions you may ask yourself !

    Bug report

    • Mobs in the Arena of the Prison sometimes appear without skins, and are really fast. I tried all sorts of things to fix this, but it randomly does it anyway. The way to go around it : be good, and kill them all before they kill you ^^.
    • Mobs in the prison (robots, guards) have custom sound of robots and humans, but sometimes they make the sound of the mobs they are based of (zombies and pigzombies). If they do so, try to restart Adventure Craft. Unfortunately there's no way to fix this as this is an Adventure Craft's bug.

    If you want to help

I work hard on this project since a year now, and if you liked my map and you want it to be continued, I would really need all the help you can bring.
So if you want to support me :

    • Press to support the topic.
    • Share it with the more people you can.
    • Promote my map to the youtubers you know so they can make a let's play.
    • Give me feedbacks ! (comments are really important for me)

    Download Link

P.S. : I apologize in advance if the thread or the game contain minor spelling mistakes. English is not my first language, so if you see any mistakes, please report it so I can correct it. Thank you.
P.P.S. : A big thanks to Potofantom for fixing my bad translations. Without him you would not understand half of the game aha.

The most urgent thing to do is to add a scrollbar to the script & texture selection. It will soon become impossible for me to select a script, and it is realy annoying to reduce the screen in order to select it.

I'm sure this will make the life of adventurecraft's users a lot easier if you deal with this problem.
