    I feel the same way, but I doubt that everybody does...
    But at least you convinced me to translate my map and to finish the second dungeon. Also I can't wait the first release of your map !

    Yep, that's depressing, considering all the time I spent on it :/
    I feel like I have lost hours of my life for nothing given that nobody will play my map anymore.
    It must be much more depressing for VPtKm actually :D

Then right before he was about to update to 1.1 the files became corrput and he lost all his work. He decided from there it was not worth it to continue updating this project. Keep in mind the amount of work it takes to do something like this for FREE. Hes making no profit. This topic will not die, it has plenty of new map makers coming along. And if people want a map bad enough they will stop being lazy and find the fix, its really simple to fix if people werent lazy. I don't think there needs to be cause for any worry, and I'm sure if Cryect sees that amazing maps are still being made he will probably come back and finish the project!


    Okay I understand now, thank you :) . I just want to say that I did not blame Cryect for not updating Adventure Craft. I understand completely that he can be discouraged and that he wants to take a break. I am already grateful that this mod exists. I was just expressing my fears for this mod's futur, in order to find an alternative solution.
    We'll have to keep this thread alive, because the fact is people on the internet ARE lazy and they don't want to make any effort unless it really worth it. I hope some of you will make incredible map (i'll do my best myself aha), first because I love playing incredible map, second because I still think that for now on this mod will need a lot of advertising.

    Does nobody know what happened to Cryect ? Is he allright ?
    Because it will be difficult to have people downloading maps if the installer doesn't work. It's a bit sad, but most of the people who see that the installer doesn't run just give up and don't try to find a solution.
    One tiny udpate would solve the problem but until then I think this mod will slowly sink if nothing is done. Map makers will realize that there is no audience and this thread will die.
    For my part, I know I won't make any map if there is just a few people to play.
    Maybe I'm a bit pessimistic, but with VPtKm who renounces one of the most ambitious projects, I can't stop thinking that it's the beggining of the end :/

    I have some issues with the camera block. AC does not want me to make a cut scene. Everytime I quit and load the game, all my camera points are gone. I really don't understand why this is happening, the cut scene is in no way complex, it's a simple four point interpolation...
    Any idea ?

    It doesn't actually fix anything, but it does keep errors from flooding the chatbox.

    Does anyone know how to fix this bug :

    It's really annoying, because my map has a lot of dialogues and it is impossible to read them if the chatbox is spammed.
    The only script i have which uses k as a variable is this one :

    Okay, here are my bugs and suggestions :

    • The first Deku scrub who is supposed to drope a key didn't spawn, I had to use f6. I don't know if it's just me or if it's the map.
    • I saw a pig wandering in the labyrinthic area. I have nothing against pig, but is it normal ?
    • I think you already know, but just in case : some items are not named correctly (gold key for instance)
    • Music doesn't start back after you killed the mini boss.
    • The time event, where you have to jump, is broken. I fell (on purpose of course *ahem*), plateforms disappearead, and when i tried to activate the bow switch one more time, it didn't work.
    • You should add a "ting ting" sound when a mob drope a key. Sometimes I don't see it :biggrin.gif:
    I really liked the dungeon. I thought it was a great first dungeon and a nice introduction/initiation for what is coming next.
    If I had one thing to say, it's that sometimes it is difficult to find out which door was opened by wich interruptor. But on the other hand I was proud when I figured things out aha.
    Loved the dungeon's atmosphere and all the work you made on light and sound effects.

    Tomorrow i'll try to die. Do not stop me.
