Inspiration is the lightbulbs in the research table I think...

Upgrade your Magnetostatics. A single one should be able to max out multiple Extractors, I believe.

Extractors aren't even in the same league. It takes 16GW, not MW, to take a bedrock breaker to 1op/tick. This is 238 T5 Magnetostatics @ 0.067GW each. Not only that, but the 61 Million RF/tick to run this mess needs 4 turbine generators with HPTs behind them to run. Not including the bank of refrigeration units.

Or, I could use just two HPTS @ 8GW each and run an ElC cable down there. Job done. Except now those turbines are permanently allocated to those breakers. I can't connect up any form of useful ElC network anymore because it melts. I can't shaft junction the turbines together and run that into a battery because it's limited to 268MW. I can't chain more than 4 batteries together because of the arbitrary 4 source per motor limit.

ElC had the potential to make end game, multi HPT level power management a much more pleasant experience, but it's shot itself in the foot. Now we're back to cheesing everything with RF, the very thing Reika tried to avoid for so long :(

Reika is there any way to make your biome collision tracker track ALL biome collisions and then crash while showing the full list? It's rather tedious to fix only one collision at a time, waiting for MC to restart and then crash again...

I sort of want to see warding return in tc 5, but rather than being a bedrock mode on/off switch it could be sort of like a force field with hitpoints?

So... runic shielding for areas and/or blocks? :P

As I understand it, the purpose of the shielding is to prevent neutrons from travelling away from the reactor and disturbing other blocks/players/mobs. Personally I don't have a problem with the shield blocks themselves being irradiated, just as long as I can contain the radiation to a manageable area. Clearly this is not everyone's cup of tea though.

As a sidenote, are the radiation googles craftable or lootable in survival? Or are they a creative-only thing?

Question Regarding Electricraft, as I just got into it earlier today.

I know the batteries can only output a certain amount, but how about input? Say I'm shoving ~4gw through 1 generator into my auroral battery, is all the power getting into it? When transducer the wire i get 524288V and 7968A (or the 4~ gw of power).

Second question, I know you can reduce the amps going through via resistors, and you can change amps to volts with the transformer, albeit at a loss of efficiency, and requiring liquid nitrogen to keep it from exploding when it is being powered by the Auroral battery. The question becomes, why would you not convert electric power to shaft, do conversions with gearboxes, then convert back to electricraft for specific needs other than torque (as the speed converter seems highly inefficient in everything but size since it is a single block, but also extremely dangerous as when it goes, it takes a large area with it). This is mainly just me asking if I'm doing this correctly

More space efficient for smaller currents to use the transformer. Obviously though this requires space for the refrigeration unit, but once you have one working, all of your transformers can utilise it.

I bet! In the world of Minecraft, that's probably the closest you can get to non-Euclidean geometry - I like it :D

All you need now is some sort of "madness" effect when you look at it... *chuckles evilly*

The best part isn't fighting it, or the loot it drops, but the incredible unease you feel when spelunking deep in the earth :P

Most of the time, all you get out of this mod is a sound effect, but it's really well done :P
