Greetings! Me (Goldenstars) and my close friend AirNomadSF have been thinking of adding a few more people to our humble tiny sever as it has gone quiet with the recent activity of finals and our members leading out for summer vacation. Our sever is a simple 10 player sever hosted by Fragnet, we try to be medieval style but we are not certainly stuck on it. With a mix of younger and older players we welcome players who are looking for the more peaceful environment that a tiny sever has to offer. We have builders like myself, along with many who like more to mine and explore.

No Stealing
No Building In other People's Areas (without permission)
No Racist Language
No Hacks

How to Join:
Tell us a little about yourself! Do you like to build? Or do you like exploring, combat or Mining better? The longer your introduction is the more likely it will be we will add you to the sever~ Screenshots too are more then welcome! If your chosen I'll message you!
The main part of it is skyblock but they also have a parkour map, a mini game map, a hungergames map and a survival map, no white list so you could hop on whenever you wanted.
I see minecraft Realms as a low-hassle sever to have a small sever for close friends.
What I see out of realms at face value:
* A lot of parents will actually use this for their younger minecraft players (ages 12 and under sort of thing)
* People who just want severs with their close friends the ability to do so without little hassle
* People using Realms as a way to host/showcase their builds, rather then using single player they would use realms.
* Portable single player world if you play minecraft in different locations.
* Private Worlds, if you live in a house with lots of different players and want your world completely separated from others in your household. (since the world isn't saved on your computer)
The mod idea is simply out there, if whoever wanted to make it wanted to add other races I wouldn't be against it at all~ And male harpies I beleive are called Harpon... But for the sake of confusion I'd just call them Harpies..
The real issue with me building my own computer is probably the same issue why others won't get prebuild, that that is quality parts. As I said I'm not jumping into anything just yet.... I might just build my own after all, but knowing my luck I'll buy a part that isn't any good or isn't compatible... And I know that "one stop shopping" is costly but overall it seems safer.... Might end up building my own anyways since it doesn't seem I can get one I want within my price range anyways... hmm...
That is why I suggested time periods between changes, yes you can automatically jump back into a portable bucket of water turning you back into a merfolk, but when you do so you change back to the merfolk state/stats your stuck with it until you switch back, which could leave you vulnerable. So in a scene it balances it self out by forcing you to wait in between refreshing your air-rates while in a human-like state. (I know there is the same issues with vampires in most mods, standing in water to void being burned during the day or just placing blocks over their heads as they build to prevent burning)
Love your ideas too for items and the temples, It would surely be a good add to any other mods who had vampires or werewolves or anything of that sort.

How would I go about cleaning my Compaq? do I need any special tools? And what exactly is "thermal paste"?
Also to the notes of putting a computer together, again it's ordering all the parts more then putting it together, also if so many people scream about building your own computer shouldn't there be tons a places that build computers that are ready to go? I mean come on.. lol
edit: that third option indeed looks very promising to the fact I can custom order it on the spot! it just might be a winner

uhh... I'd rather not build from scratch, having to order all the parts, hope they arrive in good shape (if at all), then actually put them together... it's a long process... I'd rather really just get/start out with a good pre-made tower...
So, being a hard working citizen I have finally saved up enough money to consider buying a new computer; currently I have a laptop, however she's been having overheating issues, and for a while now I have been wanting to upgrade to something that can better handle gaming, and possibly in-game recording in the future... Price range is roughly 800, though if worth my effort I would be willing to go for 1000 for budget. I already know that alien wear and ibuypower both are terrible, but where to go from there is rather iffy. I simply don't want to deal with the hassle of building my own computer, but rather simply get a good one now and simply upgrade as needed. Storage means nearly nothing to me while speed is more less the key to what I'm aiming for, I'd love to expand out into other games but also have them run smoothly enough to be worth playing...
