In the forum for suggesting game additions, say that we have an old thread. This thread's creator is either no longer active, or has no interest in the suggest anymore, but at one point the suggestion was very favored, and there is the ability to update the suggestion to fit with the current game as it stands. Are we allowed to remake threads to keep the idea updated?
i have a question.
Say that there's an old, possibly very old suggestion that at one point, was very favored, but the user who had created it is no longer active. Are we allowed to remake the thread and update it to meet what the game is currently like, as long as we credit the old creator?
I simply can't wait for the next update. This is my all-time favorite map in general for Minecraft, simply because of the genius design and atmosphere, and the way it jives so well with the game. These pictures only whet my appetite!
No support because Minecraft isn't really a game about survival. It's also annoying because it doesn't have any benefit and having two meters to watch over just kinda gets tedious.
If Minecraft's not a game about Survival, why did it take until Beta 1.8 to re-add Creative Mode after being removed in Indev 0.24, leading to all features in between being survival-oriented?
I'm not understanding the appeal or good reasoning of that name. It's not like there's some sort of law that states that all stones in Minecraft needs to be named properly when there's more than one...
Stone was there first, and us players will easily recognize that simple name for such a common, generic block. "Feldspar" is just an ugly name for something that already had a simpler one.
But you see, the problem is the genericness of it. If Stone is Stone, then why is Granite specific?
The ideas are alright. I don't really like the idea of stone now being called "Feldspar" however, I do like a few of the crafting recipes like the mossy cobblestone.
All of the ideas are alright, but the "Feldspar" name would just be awful. Let's just keep the names Stone and Cobblestone, they are simple and straightforward.
Hmm, it seems the name "Feldspar" is a bit of a problem. But you see, we can't just call it Stone, because we have specific stone names like diorite and granite. If you can think of a better, specific name, let me know.
Why is it that Mojang always "fixes" things by doing the exact opposite of what people ask for? Was it that hard for them to read the whole thread instead of glancing at it and going "Welp, lezz just take da door models 'way. Dey don' wannit."

That's kinda dark... And irrelevant to Minecraft.

I didn't think about that! Adding it to the list.
