i was trying to get lycanites mobs 1.10 content such as the new textures for some of the mobs, with the exact same name as the originals, and it didn't even work despite the fact it recognized it as installed.
lycanites mobs didn't work after me swapping files around constantly, AoA hopefully will be different in that way, as long as it doesn't delete itself.
however there is probably more than 3 base AIs since some mobs can hop and things, so its a small handful, but that can't be that hard, the abilities and hunter levels will be not so easy.
over 200 mobs having only a handful of base AI, some using the exact same sounds, i can try to get the upcoming mobs with the base AI in the game, if i am successful then i might make it as an addon.
i can probably use AI and sounds from a mob in the game to get some of the upcoming mobs in the game, besides most of the mobs use the same AI, and some even use the same sounds, the animation part will be hard to near impossible unless i can use a different mobs animation and fix it up to work with an upcoming mob, i have seen people do it before, even having tutorials on youtube to show how to do things like that, and also the health on the mobs might be hard to figure out, but not too difficult, most mobs do use similar animations, but the transformer mimic in car form i might only get as a thing like the automaton colors, lycanites mobs i can simply swap textures and animations around to get the new versions of mobs in the game, AoA won't be easy though.
i might have a slim chance to get the lycanites mobs 1.10 content in 1.7.10, but before it was like it was strapped to a bomb and it was no longer installed, simple texture and animation swaps isn't that hard, especially using programs like winrar to get that into the old versions, i could try a similar method for AoA to get goldface in the game, but a texture swap isn't as fun as a whole new mob on its own from scrapped content, maybe i can also get the upcoming mobs and bosses in the game with a similar method, but it might be more difficult since some don't have sounds or music for the bosses, but i might be able to use some other mobs sounds and other things the upcoming mobs will need as placeholders until AoA updates, the most difficult might be the transformer imposter due to the fact it has a car mode and robot mode, especially since i don't know how to animate, i could try to get animations from other mobs such as a cyclops or mechamaton, maybe a headless hunter or slimer, the moving of the wheels might be near impossible to do though.
well i did give up on changing lycanites mobs, AoA unused content doesn't exist in the files anymore, but if i can put lycanites mobs anywhere else maybe the desktop and swap the files around, then it won't be too hard, might work only on the new textures for a few of the mobs.
only a couple upcoming dimensions being populated kinda sucks, now i know that i won't need to alter the files to get the content, already tried that on lycanites mobs and it deleted itself, trying to get 1.10 content in 1.7.10 will be more difficult than expected, especially getting hacked daily by an overweight hacker.
at least i can try to go to the other dimensions, yet the only one with blocks for it in 2.5 is playtopia, and it only has a lamp, there is no guarantee that anyone can be successful if the dimensions are supposed to have blocks not yet implemented, and even with success, there might not be a single mob that spawns there besides ones already in the mod, but if someone is lucky, there might be incomplete mobs there without any noise or something like that, but its highly unlikely since not even custom npcs finds the mobs, even if they're coded into the mod, at least nobody is desperate to modify the files to get the upcoming content in 2.5 snapshot.
man spikezilla needs to be nerfed on the projectiles it shoots, it shoots too many and not only makes my game lag like crazy, it sabotages the terrain, can barely make a survival mode when it spawns, always need to set it to peaceful and back to normal when it is around, i even needed to make a bedrock fortress just to survive the blast.
man i can't believe the old removed content isn't anywhere in the files, it seems like it went ninja vanish after it got removed, so i guess i can't try to make the unused mob and rename it a different name and make it shoot projectiles or anything like that, guess it might be much easier to get the new update for lycanites mobs in 1.7.10 since that version is abandoned, if the official update will never come out for that version, i might need to implement it for myself, nobody said i can't so i might as well, as long as nobody begs me to help them manually install the update for abandoned versions of the mod, maybe i can even try to replace some boss music in AoA with the ark survival evolved dragon on steroids music.
man if only i could find the old removed mob and textures, then maybe i can swap them around if i can so then it can be in the game, but probably not as a separate mob, just probably as a reskin, all i can seem to find is the upcoming mobs and bosses textures so far. not even any sounds or anything.
man i can't believe that the scrapped content isn't in the files of the mod anywhere, some games and mods have the content in the files, just not being used, thought i could modify the files to get the scrapped content.
i am glad that i don't play on servers anymore due to some having dumb reasons to be banned, cyber bullies, and so much more on a ton of servers, that makes me not so disappointed that my computer got hacked and it sometimes won't let me connect to servers.
it specifically makes it seem that the crash is about the certain magic from the weapon that can annihilate anything, this actually did work with orespawn since i used them both before, then randomly it crashed after i decided to disable this to play a modded survival without gargantuan things destroying me thousands of times, i re-enabled it when i was on my creative world and it never worked since i did that.
