A Mod That Adds Storage Blocks For All Of The Overstocked Blocks!
Now introducing... COMPACT BLOCKS BETA!!

(left to right)
The Crafting Recipe is simple, place 9 blocks of the same type listed above into your 9x9 crafting grid, and then you've got your new Compact Block!!
The crafting recipe for items are simple, place compact wood or cobble in a crafting grid as you would for any tool, add sticks, and then you have your item!!
An example using a wood and a stone hoe
(the light grey is actually wood, gimp messed up the photo when i exported it into a GIF)

[11/28/11] As the top of the post says, there is now a compact blocks beta!! The compact blocks beta is mainly so people can try the latest version and tell me if they find any bugs. That way when i release the newest version, it will be clean and free of bugs.
The newest beta adds the compactor!! The compactor acts just like a furnace, but instead of smelting the stuff, it compacts it!! It's still REALLY buggy, and some of the blocks won't work (anything that isn't regularly smeltable) so if you know how to fix it, let me know!! BETA DOWNLOAD (1.0.0)
1: Download ModLoader
2: Download The Mod
3: Go into minecraft.jar
4: Copy ModLoader files into minecraft.jar
5: Copy Mod files into minecraft.jar
ii 6: DELETE META-INF !!
7: Close minecraft.jar
8: Enjoy
Bugs:
R4 BETA:
-Front of compactor doesn't show up when placed in certain directions
-Trying to compact compact sand will result in crash
-Anything that isn't regularly smeltable won't compact in the compactor

This is my first mod, dont think much of it please
This mod i created is relativity simple, it adds recipes to make some materials that you may not find where you spawned. This could also be useful for a custom map where you have limited materials.
If you think that i should change a recipe, or add a recipe for a block, just leave a post below

this doesn't go into the redstone sub forum.... you weren't even in the right area. Do the thread somwhere in the mapping and modding section. Also, you didn't provide any information about what mods you have installed. provide that then someone will help you
