Does anyone know why when I play the mod the alignment bar does not show at the top of my screen?
Also I can't find any of the biomes but the monsters and items are here so is it glitched or something?

Edit: I have found out the problems but the citys and other stuff in gondor and mordor (Maybe others)
are not spawning the buildings are not there.

It's not a glitch, It's because your not in the world yet you have to travel to Middle Earth and heres how

    1) Make a golden ring out of 8 golden nuggets leaving the center blank
    2) Drop the ring (by pressing Q) into a fire, Once you do this you will hear an explosion and a floating Ring Portal will appear
    3) Enter the ring portal, though it might be in the air you can build up to it and stand there until it tp's you
    4) Congrats your in Middle Earth, enjoy your adventure

Can anyone say anything about when this mod will be no longer in beta state (I'm not intending to make anyone hurry, just asking for gameplay videos' sake).

Oh trust me the Creator says it might take years it's not going to be complete any time soon, so it's best to start it now similar to Mr. Gibbs

Can you upload to 1.7.2 please?

He's planning on updating it to 1.7.4 and skip 1.7.2 but forge hasn't updated to 1.7.4 so we are going to have to wait for forge

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or an intended feature, but since beta 14, it seems that evil units will still attack you in mordor even if your alignment is lower than -50. I've had Olog-HaiAnother thing I've noticed is that it requires an alignment of -300 to hire any unit besides olog-hai from orc captains, while it is less to hire from angmar mercenary captains. For instance, it takes an alignment of -300 to hire an orc from a captain of mordor, but only -150 to hire that same orc from an angmar captain. Are these an intended features, or just bugs? I'm inclined to think they are bugs since there is no mention of anything in the changelog.

All of them are intended features except the different alignment for for same troop with different mercenary captains that you mentioned that might be a bug. Haven't you seen the movies the orcs fight each other all the time and as long as your above an alignment of -50 in mordor you are still a standard orc to brawl with. Or they could not see you as high enough stature so they attack you.

Well, if there is an ability, is it possible to add in some more hidden Elven structures, or possibly the ring wraiths, or increase the density of trees and more ruins.

You have to be specific about what you want for your structures and important characters such as Ring Wraiths, Gandlaf and Frodo will be added waaaaaay later on

I have another suggestion maybe you could add an Army of the Dead whom spawn frequently in the mines of the misty mountains and are hostile to all until you are of a alignment of +500 to +1000 then they will be passive and recognise you as a high positioned good guy. They shouldn't be hireable though as they only helped in one fight then disappeared slightly afterwards. They should have Warriors, Archers, and their own (probably unobtainable unless from their rairdrop) Armour and weapons. Or they could use the ancient armour and weaponry but that wouldn't fit their colour because that's brown and they're green. This could probably give the good guys a slight advantage at the misty mountains. Also white wargs should be less rare and yes though they are probably rare lore wise they're way too rare in the game. I tried spawning them in creative for about 5 minutes nonstop and didn't get one. To solve this I propose that different color wargs should be found in different biomes (obviously evil aligned) suitable to each ones colour. For example you could find White Wargs commonly in snowy places such as the Misty Mountains and snow sub biomes like snowy angmar areas, Black wargs could be found in dark places such as Mordor, Brown lands, Lone Lands and other dry dark areas, Brown wargs can spawn in places that are fertile (have dirt and trees) such as Brown Lands, Eriador, Ettenmoors, Trollshaws, Mirkwood Currupted(maybe), Dunland(maybe), Dead Marshes, and others Grey Wargs can spawn in Rocky areas such as Ettenmoors, Grey Mountains, Mordor(maybe), Emyn Muil, Blue Mountains(maybe) and more. As you can see some areas can intertwine warg spawning areas for example Ettenmoors can spawn both Grey wargs and Brown wargs since it has both their criteria. I really hope this spawning takes place of the current spawning where all colour wargs spawn anywhere where wargs spawn and that the white warg is pretty much impossible to get. I really hope this gets implemented anyone got anything to add to my Idea

It is a Fellbeast Model I made, just for fun. If you want me to send it to you, just contact me. Im not the best at texturing, so the texture can be of course made better by some of your texturers. Because I only have Paint, I could not make the Wing texture transparent at some Points to make it look like a real Dragon wing.

    Hope you like it.

I absolutely love this model some armour with it would be badass as well really awesome model though hope he sees it

I LOVE THIS MOD OMFG OMFG I LOVE IT SOO MUCH. My friends and i are making a server for this :c its so epic.
    Some suggestions though?

    - have a warp map (gotten by some quest?) where you can unlock places to warp to!

    - let hired units attack others players (doesnt matter alignment) if you blow a certain horn.

-let hired units patrol areas? right click the points where they will patrol

-let hired units guard a certain area?

    - Gondor house

    -Bigger fortresses

-Mabey a sub-biome within the middle of mordor where Huge camps appear and have Sauron!

    -Rohan Houses

-THE BIG ELEPHANTS! ( forgot their names :( )

    - Wraiths dont burn in daylight

    -Wraiths can be hired

    - Some way to heal allied units/soldiers (feeding them steak, or if an elf, an apple?)

    - Trolls can be hired (any type)

-Trolls can be ridden on if alignment is -500 and can be controlled*/customized with weapon/armor if -750

*by controlled i mean you can make them attack ect... (get it, conTROLLed lol)

I'm going to answer every single one of your points one by one alright just so you can understand

    - He is adding a fast travel system so that when you discover a waypoint on the map you can TP there later as long as you have discovered it

    - I don't think he is focusing on Multiplayer elements of the mod just yet so we should just wait till he adds enough stuff then he can add details like multiplayer options where you can see other players on your map and awesome stuff like that

    - They have a Guard option to guard around a certain block radius (6-8 was the minimum if I recall) you can also just tell them to stand still (I think)

    - The people and men of gondor don't live in mere houses they live in cities making it much more complicated to make a living environment for the men and women of gondor as he would have to make cities for them not houses and this would be very very difficult and times taking so this will probably be added in the future

    - As I said before these structures take time and since this is a fortress this will probably take more time than the gondor cities or probably just as much time

    - Not sure about the huge camps because though they would take time they probably wouldn't take that much time (That would be something to definitely add to isengaurd when it's put in) and important characters like Sauron, Gandalf, Frodo, etc. will be added way later when the quest system is implemented

    - Rohan houses same thing I said with the Gondorian houses except with villages

    - I really hope this gets added in soon but they have to develop the land of harad a bit more by adding firstly the land itself secondly making the mobs that live within it (Haradrim) and then when those two things are developed enough hopefully Oliphaunts (that's their names) will added

    - Wraiths are hostile towards both sides so I highly doubt they'll be hireable

    - For Wraiths I don't know much lore about them but they are dark entities most of the time so it would sorta make sense for them to burn in daylight I guess

    - They regenerate health over short periods of time so I don't think there's a need for that

    - Both troll types can be hired by angmar orc mercenary captains

    - I don't think riding trolls would make much sense or be lore worthy now right

    * You can order them to attack they're hireable

Hope I cleared that up for you :D

The Dunidain (the Rangers of the North(And technically all pure-blooded Gondoreans)) are not "lone wolves," as they answer to Aragorn, who is the King by birth of both Gondor and Arnor...Rangers should be hirable. Why I say this is because they are a rather special unit like the orc bombarder. Also, the rangers of Ithilien I believe are hirable by Gonderean Captains already, so...
I do agree with your thing about Ents (though that was and almost 99% likely to never be planed) but I must add this: The Ents are not neutral to good, they ARE good. They are against evil, that is Sauron an any of his and/or his Master's (Morgoth's/Melkor's) creations, for they were created by the Vala Yavanna. Oh, and another thing to add to Ents not being hirable: Ents are not worriers. The only two times in the entire history of Arda (The world Middle-Earth is in) that Ents fought a battle was after the death Thingol, in the first age of the Sun, and the Sacking of Isengard.
Trolls (This includes Olog-Hai) are perfectly fine to keep- Evil doesn't play fair, now do they? Hence Sauron's title: The Base Master of Treachery. He ain't called that for nothin', kids. :P
About the fast travel system: Here, this is what the Mod Maker, Mevans, said about it on FB:

"After some discussion we have decided that it is more important to add a method of fast-travelling around the map as soon as possible than it is to spend lots of time on something fancy involving Eagles and Fell Beasts, so here is a basic fast travel system.

You can click on a waypoint and press a key (default F) to travel to that location. After fast-travelling to a waypoint you must wait 2 hours until you can use fast travel again (we may change this in the future, depending on feedback). Fast-travelling also transports all nearby hired units which are not halted and are not in Guard Mode.

Waypoints are unlocked once you have visited the region they are located in: upon entering a region, all the waypoints within become available for use (with some exceptions, e.g. evil players cannot fast-travel to Rivendell).

For admins there is also a new command /fastTravelTimer to modify the time remaining until a certain player can use fast travel, up to 24 hours."

    Does that answer your questions?

Thanks for answering most of my questions and yes it would probably make sense for the Rangers to be hireable (which they currently aren't I checked to see if they were hireable) But I think it would be a bit OP if the rangers were to be hireable because they would just be able to continuously shoot your enemies and kill them without getting harmed because they'll be invisible. The only way I see em being able to be hireable and not OP is of their invisibility power were taken away which wouldn't really make them special as they would be the equivalent of a Galadhrim warrior.

Awesome mod man!!!! I'm a big fan of LOTR and of your mod! I'm watching Mr.Gibbs series and reading the second book. I wanted to ask u if u could add hireable Rangers of Ithilien and Ents and also add a invisibilty mode for when wearing a full suit of ranger armour. Wanted as well that the bottom parts of the scout armour (leggings and boots) are missing, making the achievement for wearing the full suit unachiaveble and showing no reason for the speed bost added in the new version. But this is, with no doubts the BEST MOD EVER!!! GREAT job man!! Keep on!

Your Idea for invisibility is wonderful but I feel it should just cover you from enemies that's all also I'm not sure about rangers being hireable units and i'm very sure about ents not being hireable unites i'll explain why. The rangers are sort of like lone wolves they only fight for themselves and occasionally for other people but since they support gondor here then they should be hireable by a gondorian captain but I think hired invisible guys would be a bit too OP cause nobody would spot em and they'll just shoot all day pretty much invincible. Ents will not be able to be hired units and yes I would like this in the game to balance out for trolls and olog hai being hireable it simply wouldn't make any sense what so ever. Firstly who would you recruit them from they share loyalty to nobody maybe a tree captain? I dunno but rather than the one and only Treebeard I haven't seen any tree captains and ents don't accept coins that wouldn't make any sense. Secondly they're not loyal to good guys they're only neutral to good guys and hostile to bad ones. This is because the forces of evil chop down trees while good doesn't. If you hired an ent and then you proceeded to chop down a tree what would he do would he stay loyally at your side killing attacking ents? or betray you and let your hard earned cash for a bodygaurd turn into a quick path to your death. both are bad as one makes no sense and the other is just rage inducing. They don't serve the good guys they serve the forests of Fangorn and happen to ally with the good guys for a bit. Yes I know this is to balance the Olog Hai and Trolls for being hireable but at least they make sense since they serve Sauron and are a part of his legion. And before you call me a hipocrate for saying it's OP to have Rangers but isn't to have Olog Hai and Trolls while Good guys have ents those are two different things. The Rangers will stay unnoticed for ever and keep shooting basically never being spotted and just camping while olog hai and trolls are very easily noticed and if outnumbered will easily die (it happened to me in the shire with 2 olog hai). Thus I state my reasons why rangers and ents shouldn't be added you can try to refute my argument if you'd like as i'd like to hear other opinions about this topic as well I know I stretched for a bit but I just wanted to put it out thereHi these are my previous posts from earlier I thought I should repost them to help and get some opinions on plz tell me what you think about this idea and if you agree

Hi it's me again and I have another suggestion. Firstly i'm gonna say that me and my friends agree that this is the best minecraft mod I have played in a long time i'm really enjoying myself and am loving every second i'm playing this mod. I also love the simpleness of making your server online and playing the mod with your friends truly awesome. I also see that you added Harad and Rhun thats awesome i look forward to haradrim and easterlings. Now onto my suggestion. This mod is simply huge and I love that but maybe it's a bit too huge. Me and my friends started out as evil and it took us 2 full hours just to get out of the shire. It was a great struggle since the hobbit sheriffs whom thankfully aren't that hard (but they are without armour and weapons). it also took time because we had to walk on foot and the only steeds to be found in the shire are slow shire ponies. it took so much time to get out of there but when we did the horses and wargs were very quick and got us to places in this large world quicker. Maybe if your good or evil you could start out with one steed depending on your alignment. also the steeds are quicker than running but still aren't quick enough to say get me from the shire to dunland or even mordor. maybe the steeds could be a bit faster than they currently are or maybe you could add new ones with more variety. since your adding harad maybe you could ride the large mighty oliphants. i'd say that you would require an alignment of -1000 to -1500 to ride one. that would be reasonable, awesome and a quicker way of getting around. they could also be offensive and have Lord of the rings Conquest like controls. also you could ride Fell-beasts and Great Eagles which would be the quickest and best way of transportation in the world but also very costly. Firstly I think they should spawn very very rarely and spawn in Angmar or Mordor/Gondor. once you see one of an enemy alliance it will try to swoop down and kill you so you have to be prepared with strong armour and weapons before you wonder in the enemy territory. it would sort of act as a mini boss and great protection for the bases of the Good and Evil. now if you are evil and find a fell beast or good and find a great eagle you can be able to tame it at i'd saaay -2000 to -2500 (for fellbeast) or +2000 or +2500 (for great eagle). Now to tame one you'd have to make a Mithril horn and use it directly at one and once you do it should be yours and you can fly across the lands of middle earth at high speeds with your Fell-beast/Great Eagle. I hope this suggestion helps and is added you could adjust it if you want I really hope it helps keep it up with the amazing mod

P.S. I don't want this beautiful humongous world of middle earth to shrink because of the people asking for it to shrink I also have another idea you could also add a Fast-Travel System and it could work just like it did with Lego LOTR with map stone guardians but in a different way thus if I say explored the shire and dunland and I am at the shire and want to get to Rohan or Misty Mountains I could find a map stone in the shire to TP me to another discovered map stone I also suggest there be 4-6 map stones per land and not make it too easy to TP they should also be widespread. The Map stones could also be marked as white spots on the map and they'll be grey if you haven't discovered them this will be really easy for me to go from the shire to say Rohan without having to /TP my way there or anything and I would love it if it made it into the mod, I really hope this prevents this humongous, beautiful world from getting smaller. The map stones should also work with steeds you are on/own and hired units unless they are on guard mode. I really hope this helps in some way:D

    Hey guys :)

when I downloaded version 13.1, I was really impressed and happy that the map is like the real LOTR map.
But then I and the persons on my server saw: this map is 200 000 x 200 000 blocks big ...omg :o

The great LOTR feeling that is given by the mod was destroyed after a while. You always need a huge time to reach an other place.
If you need special resources from another biome ... you have to run for a couple of hours
If you want to explore the world ... after 30 min: hm, still same biome
If you want to battle your enemies ... you finally reach somebody and your army is only because of the long way almost totally eliminated

So this new big map change the great minecraft and LOTR feeling, where you can explore and build a lot of beautiful things in a "run and see always the same"-feeling.

If it only would be half so big or maybe a quarter, it even would improve a lot.
You should kinda have the possibility to change the size in the config or sth like this.

Hope you guys can help me
Maybe somebody have an idea to change the size, without loosing the biome properties

    Schocksal :D

Or maybe they could make the steeds faster or maybe they could add extra steeds read my comment earlier about the steeds i think you might agree
