For some reason, you can't put past a certain amount of redstone and quartz on something, even with enough modifiers. Lapis would be nice to have uncapped, too, since fortune 72 would be really cool. So I need some way to fix this "feature," whether it's an addon, or something else. I hate that I'm limited in what I can do.

Could someone make an Avaritia auto-crafting table, like the one from Buildcraft, but with the 9x9 table? You load in a pattern with ghost items, and fill up a spot with materials, and if you have the right number of each, you can make the item. Or make a block, item, or something, that can automatically put items into the table, and take them out.

I want to set the recipes of the singularities to only 1000 of the block of material. Every time I try it, it says, "Error executing Avaritia.zs: fox.spiteful.avaritia.crafting.ExtremeShapedRecipe cannot be cast to fox.spiteful.avaritia.crafting.CompressorRecipe". What does that even mean?

Could someone make an off-hand mod, that you can hold something in it, like the Extra Utilities healing axe, and it works like that. Or, hold a pick in your regular hand, and building material in your off-hand. Maybe take out the blocking removal. So, please just add the off-hand feature. The rest of 1.9 is why I haven't updated.

May 21, 2016Xaldin posted a message on Idea for a Thaumcraft and Draconic Evolution addonPosted in: Requests / Ideas For Mods
The other day I was playing with my buddy and I came up with an idea that I thought could be awesome. Try an Imagine a Addon Mod that would combine Thaumcraft and Draconic Evolution. There could be a way to combine Enchanted Fabric with Awakened Draconium Ingots so you can make some sort of Arcane Draconic Fabric which then you could make some sort of Draconium Infused Thaumaturge Garb. I figured the Arcane Draconic Fabric could be make through Infusion or maybe some other special process. I just thought this would be an awesome mod mixing the pure power of Draconic Evolution with the Magic and research of Thaumcraft. I can only imagine what would happen if you were to Mix the power of Awakened Draconium with the Primordial Pearl.

I have been wanting a specific mod for a long time that will essentially give you a multiplayer feel in single player survival, let me explain. .
Imagine your not the only Steve out there but this is no server . . this is your survival world, much like how you would run into villages you mite just run into another survivor gathering resources to stay alive and building huts or tree houses or full on castles, but beware for this "other Steve" is unpredictable he could be hostile right from the start, . . dehydration, hunger and the wild does strange things to a Steve's square head/mind.
He could also be friendly and helpful, who knows u might make a friend, but treat him well try to build trsust or he might just decide to take what you have and leave you for dead, or he could see the advantages of working together for mutual survival . . you know i scratch your rectangular back and you scratch mine kind of deal. you can hunt together, mine together, and build together tho he truly seems to have a mind of his own.
This "other Steve" mite not be alone, he could have friends or a "Tribe"
(i understand that this will be difficult to make as the AI will have to be complex but i am sure it will be well received by the survival?single player community)
Thanks for reading and considering this, kind regards

Most of the time change is needed to progress. If the game was exactly how it was back then, then I don't think it'd be as popular as it is now. But the game is growing, and it's still being played by millions. So I guess the change wasn't bad.
I didn't start crazy early. I started in 1.2.5 and yes things were simple, but if the game didn't progress since then, I doubt i'd still play. The updates are what keep new players coming and the keep the community alive. Otherwise the game would slowly die out.

Hey guys, I posted a resource pack I made for DE to Reddit and they recommended that I link it here as well. It replaces the tool and armor textures, and also includes some other changes of stuff I personally didn't like. I've attached two previews, here's a link to the full album containing most (if not all) of the changes. Personally I'm really proud of the tools, they're the only things that are basically 99% from scratch (plus a recolored vanilla stick.. haha :P) and I think they turned out really nice.
-Armor is ripped straight out of TFC and recolored in Photoshop. Creds to Dunk/Kitty/Biox for the amazing armor textures, probably the best I've seen in any mod.
-The base of the charger is taken from a half-finished Unity retexture by someone on Reddit whose name I can't recall. Some of the textures from that pack are also included unaltered.
-Infused obsidian has Unity's obsidian as a base, because that's the texturepack I play with.
-The MK2 teleporter is also an edited Unity texture.
Here's a download for anyone interested; you'll have to unzip it, unzip your resource pack of choice and stick this in the assets folder. Just sticking this in your resource pack folder will NOT work, this isn't really a resource pack!
P.S. You'll have to disable the 3D armor/tool models in DE's config. This only works with Snapshot 10 (which is not in FTB Infinity Evolved yet, by the way) since for some reason the 2D armors were invisible for me in snapshot 9.
Hope you guys like this!

Thaumic Tinkerer is a spiritual successor to Vazkii's Elemental Tinkerer mod, this is a mod about tinkering with thaumic creations. It's an addon to azanor;s Thaumcraft 4. The intention is to add new, and useful items you can create, using the knowledge you've acquired from the vanilla thaumcraft researches.
Researches that come from this mod are prefixed as [TT] for easy labelling.
As this is a Thaumcraft Addon, I'll try to keep spoilers minimal, so, here's some non-spoiler-y images. I'll add videos if I happen to get any. So here's a little gallery:
What do these things do you ask? Well, you'll have to figure it out yourself
Down here there would be videos. But as of the 3.0 version of the mod, they're all outdated, since lots of superfluous items have been removed. Updated videos will be placed here as they come.

If you want to do anything with this mod besides playing it, you should have a look at what it says. For modpacks, refer to the license under the Thaumcraft 5 thread, since my mod depends on it. You can distribute TT in modpacks at will, but Thaumcraft is a different matter.
(Hey you, read this)
This mod includes features exclusive to ComputerCraft and ForgeMultipart, for the full experience, these are recomended, but by no means required.
Source Code (github)The Github contains localization files, the mod can be localized. Currently it's available in English.

Q: Can I use this mod in a modpack?
A: Read the License section of this thread.
Q: Any other mods by you?
A: Check my website.
Q: How can I contact you?
A: See above.
Q: (Insert any other question here related to me, not my mod)
A: See above, About me section.
Q: Haven't I seen those sprites before?
A: You may have. This mod makes use of either modified, or just copied versions of Thaumcraft 2 or 3 assets, the reason for this is that I can't make any sort of art at all, and I'd rather make use of fantastic unused assets than to reinvent the wheel and create my own, that would probably be sub-par.
Q: The latest version in the file index says it was compiled for an old version of thaumcraft, will it still work?
A: In theory it should work, it probably will, you should try it yourself to find out.
Q: Why are there things in the thread? (May or may not be)
A: Because Minecraft Forums is stupid.
- Searge and the MCP Team for creating the amazing Minecraft Coder's Pack;
- SpaceToad, Eloraam, LexManos, cpw and the rest of the Forge Team for creating Minecraft Forge, which made my mod, and many others able to exist;

Nov 20, 2011Did anyone like the pre-adventure update worlds better than the ones now? I think biomes are much too large, not enough snow, and they are either totally flat or horribly mountainous. I went back to some old saves and compared it to a current one, and the old ones were so much better. Does anyone else agree, and is there any way to generate old style maps?Posted in: Survival Mode
