    I'm gonna take on Humans+ then, if it will work. I would also used the Walled City generator if I was sure it wouldn't cover too much of the world with large cities. Is it possible to control that?

    Well, I've been looking for a good "villagers" mod that adds more human(oid) NPCs that do different cool things without taking away the free roaming, building and surviving vanilla feel of Minecraft.

    I'm currently using the Builders mod, which is really cool so far. They're voices and sound effects are funny too. However, it's really interesting, and maybe even a little concerning how fast they spawn, how much they build and how fast they do it. Almost makes me wonder if they will take up a spot I decide is the perfect place for my new home. Is it possible to keep that from happening?

    Millenaire is a really good one, but it isn't compatible with the mods I'm using.

    Humans+ is also a nice sounding one that I'm about to try, but I wonder if it's the kind for me.

    There's also MineColony, which looks and sounds pretty cool, but also looks and sounds a lot like a village building sim. I mean, I suppose it's not like as soon as I install the mod the game is gonna turn into a tycoon game, but I keep getting this strange feel that if I use a certain mod, it will take away the free roaming, building and surviving-in-this-vast-and-massive-world feel of the game. However, I still like the idea of building some kind of cliff colony without having to host a server to make it work.

    There's one more, but I'm sure it's not what I want. It's called "A Tale of Kingdoms". It's really great sounding and looks very impressive, but from what I've seen and read of it, it really IS a mod that turns Minecraft into an RPG, and I kinda feel like if I want to play an RPG, I would go and play Oblivion or some MMORPG.

    Still, it's a cool looking mod, and I wouldn't mind playing on a server that uses it.

    So, I was wondering, which is best for adding NPCs I can interact with on a decent level without taking away too much of the vanilla feel of the game?

    Dang...Didn't know that was going on. The texture pack is fine the way it is and 1.9 isn't even out yet, so I don't mind if Kez stops for now.

    Hey, I really like this texture pack. It improves the looks of many things while still capturing the original Minecraft feel.

    However, I got an issue: When I used the customizer, I chose to use light wood chest textures, but they don't work. Although I see the textures on the Terrain.png, in the item folder where the chest.png and the large chest.png are at, I see the simple dark wood chests.

    Don't get me wrong. They look great. Much better than the vanilla chests the game has, but I was wondering; why is that, and is there a way to fix it?

    Hey, I was wondering, is there any good SMP server that doesn't require an application or is at least one I have a high chance of joining?

    While I don't mind mods and I do like to RP, I don't really want it to be a heavily RPG modded server.

    Is there anything like that?

    Is it in Minecraft.jar? I looked in the terrain folder, and I only saw a sun.png and a moon.png.

    Out of all the texture packs I've seen here, Dokucraft is one of the best looking. I like the looks of the items, tools and weapons. However, I don't like the looks of the blocks. Actually, it seems like I don't like the looks of most blocks in most texture packs. I just like Vanilla more.

    I was wondering, though I didn't see it in the customizer for it, is there a way to keep vanilla block textures but get Dokucraft textures for everything else?

    I tried using the installer, but it just gives spams me a "problem with shortcut" error message saying how Launchpad.exe is missing and forcing me to close it via task manager.

    How do I fix this?

    Hi, I'm new here. I plan to make a proper introduction, but I want to be able to play the game I'm joining a community of before I make an introduction. I can't get this card for buying the game to work.

    You see, I got a Target Visa gift card of 25 dollars, but it didn't work. So, I tried a Walmart Visa pre-paid card and put 22 dollars on it, but it doesn't work either. I found out it's because it wasn't activated, so that was a fail on my part. I also pushed it too far so it disabled me from being able to use the card for 24 hours.

    Now, it's been 24 hours, I have the Walmart card activated, it has a balance of 22.00 dollars (I live in the US) and for some reason, it still says the transaction failed. Something about the card or something being denied.

    I read that I should try putting the money on a PayPal account, but to do that, I have to link it to a bank account, and I don't have a bank account yet.

    I'm sure I typed the card information in right. Am I doing something wrong, or should I contact Minecraft support?
