    I talked to the dev and he said they just used doku's textures the ones that doku specifically said anyone can use for anything he said he even tried contacting doku to pay for them so problem solved.

    I was on steam and saw a game on Greenlight called Murder Miners and it is using textures from last days especially the wood planks, log, coal and cobblestone blocks

    cheers derek its just that I have been busy with life and that, and I delegated the soundpack over to kolver because of that.

    I also have lost a lot interest in mc lately but I still like last days, and if needed I'm always willing to write lore if need be or assisting kolver with the soundpack, while I don't pop in here is much I'm still able to contribute externally...

    hey there everyone, Gizka here. I have noticed that Kolver88 has been releasing unofficial soundpack updates, which is a good thing I believe, but I think I'll push out one more soundpack update by myself and then delegate the responsibility of the soundpack over to Kovler88...

    on second thought I shall now delegate all responsibility of the sound pack to Kolver88,

    but all I ask of you though is that you do not change the sounds of the iron golems, silverfish, player damage sounds, fall damage, music discs and door bash/breaking sounds

    and you also must be ready to hand over the sound pack to me when I finally decide to come back (much like how I promised to hand the sound pack over to Halphprice if he would ever come back)

    and you must also write down what changes you have made to the sound pack so I don't end up butchering your work.

    anyway good luck Kolver88 with the sound pack

    I apologize about the Soundpack, it is just that I have been really busy trying to find a job IRL and I no longer find minecraft fun anymore, I used mc as a time waster during school but since I am out of school now I have no need for minecraft, I'll see if I can squeeze out one final update and then I'll decide whether or not to delegate the responsibility of the sound pack to someone else...

    I'm back!

    I've just noticed that people are wondering about the soundpack. well for starters I just need to fix it up for the update, add some essential sounds, change some of the sounds and finally go through the music discs and replace the ones that I deem not good to listen to anymore.

    Amoeba (Slimes)

    these gelatinous cubes showed up after The Event when a careless H.I.V.E scientist dropped his lime flavoured jelly into a Petri dish filled with a variety of bacteria, the result was a gelatinous cube that could move by hopping/bouncing, these cubes would absorb nutrients from whatever it landed on but it's most favourite source of nutrition is from human flesh and radiation but very high concentrations of radiation can kill the nucleus inside the Amoeba, the Amoebas have been encountered in many different sizes the smallest being the size of a basketball and the largest being bigger than an adult human, Amoebas are quite rare in the H.I.V.Es but thrive in irradiated areas, swamps are the best place to encounter them due to the high radiation levels however this has led to the misconception that Masked Outcasts were the ones who created them seeing as they live in the swamps too. overall most survivors have learned that small Amoebas are harmless but if they are bigger than a you then that is the time to run.

    (this lore may need a bit of revision, but let me know what you think)

So, you may be able to include music files as a separate download altogether. Why bother downloading the music if you're not going to use it, right? :P

    Anyways, come whatever may. People will still be happy with whatever changes you make whenever you make them. Bring it on. :D

    Also, I'm seeing how much of what I can shave off right now with the old 1.2.5 pack. Once I finish, I'll share my results with you, if you'd like. :o
    thanks man, it seems that most of the sounds don't have to be changed all I have to do is shift them into the right spots

    Maybe you could try compressing it into a .rar or .7zip. That will really cut down the size into something much more manageable provided the recipients have the proper programs to extract them (which they should, .rar and .7zip are really common file formats).
    but 182 MB is the size of the .rar file

    okay so it seems that the resource files are unchanged except there is a new file called sound3 and whatever is in this file is what I have to change to make the sound pack work with 1.4.2

    however there is one small problem

    this may make the file size of the sound pack almost double in size from 182 MB to 364 MB and this may pose a problem to those with bad internet, so updates to the sound pack will not be frequent if this is the case
