I joined Wintercrest somewhere in april. I joined because one of my good friends was playing on this server and asked if i wanted to join. So i did.
When i first joined i got welcomed by everyone, and that was a bit weird for me. Because not on every server you get welcomed. So when i joined i was surprised but also happy. They let you feel welcome to the server and they are so friendly. Even the owner was talking to us and even pm'ed me to make sure i was enjoying tha server. I got so shocked when that happened but also glad. Cus that made me realize that the owner and the people on this server
actually cares about the players who are playing. They are also fast with helping you and they stay friendly!
This is a vanilla minecraft server with some simple plugins added to it. But these plugins don't change the game that much! You still have to grind for your stuff. You still have to mine and harvest things yourself!! And that is how you are supposed to play the game!
Something i realized quick was that this server is NOT pay to win at all, WHICH I LOVE! On this server they made sure that the perks ranked people had were available for normal players. By putting perk potions in the vote crate. So if you would vote you could win these perks that the ranked people also have! This way its fair for everyone and gives everyone the opportunity to have the perks! Ain't that amazing?!!
I would recommend this server to other people to play!! Cus its a great vanilla server with some simple plugins to make it a little bit more enjoyable! Their events are also NEXT LEVEL!! I would recommend to play the events when there are any! And yes there will be more events! (At least i hope so?!)
