Path of Glueco - The Cake Faith
    LESSER GOD
Glueco loves cake. Build cakes for him. Cakes as far as the eye can see.

Materials: Cake, Cake, Cake, Pink Wool, White Wool, Cookies and Cake.
    Colors: Pink, White and CakeColor.
    Biomes: None
Armour: Cake Armour? Glueco demands you figure this out …
    Weapon: Wielded Cake.
Shrine: White wool on top of pink wool. Topped with … Cake.

    -- Level 1 – Sugar Rush --
Cake Processing Plant: Build a tiny shed out any materials you prefer. Build entirely from pink and white wool for bonus points. Label the outside of the house with a sign titled “Cake Processing Plant”.
Glorious Sugar: Begin the hunt for sugar cane. After procuring some build a fenced off area outside your processing plant to farm the sugarcane, the larger the better. Include a wheat farm in this area as well.

    -- Level 2 – Diabetic --
Chicken Pit: Dig straight down (the horror) for about 32 blocks. Ladder all the way back up to the top and then place torches all around your processing plant to increase friendly mob spawns. Any chickens that spawn push them into the pit. Any other mobs should die if they fall in. Climb down every now and again to collect the dropped eggs.
Milk Moustache: Try to herd cows that spawn into a fenced off area by the side of your processing plant. Gather as much milk as you have buckets. If you don’t have buckets search some caves for iron and make some. Cakes must be built!

    -- Level 3 – Cake Warrior --
Victory is Mine!: The time has come to construct your first cake. Having harvested the necessary ingredients; bake a cake and place it in the centre of your cake processing plant. This cake is to never be eaten.
Food Fight: Bake a new cake and wield it as a weapon. Kill one of every mob with this cake to make Glueco smile.

    -- Level 4 – InCakeSane --
Om Nom Nom: Never stop building cakes. Never log out of minecraft. Quit your job, drop out of school, use coffee to limit sleeping. Spend your time building cakes. Forever. Layer the minecraft world in them. Cakes FOR THE CAKE GAWD! HOOOOOOWWEEEAAARRGGHHHH !

Oh god, do we have to kill the enderdragon with cake?

The path of Terrae, Night One (PIC HEAVY!):

Ahhh... my head. What the hell happened? Am I in London yet?

Wait, no, this can't be London! It's snowy here! Snow isn't depressing enough to belong in London! So where the hell am I? And for that matter, where's Bertie gone off to? BERTIE?!

It looks like he's gone. Now then. Since it looks like I'll have to get all the way to London on foot, then WAIT WHAT'S THAT?! Hahaha I'm distracted.

Japanese people? What are Japanese people doing in the Arctic?! This is getting stranger by the minute.

Now then, it looks like I have to get there on foot, so I need some way to survive until I reach civilisation again. Let's see...

Ooh! What's that over there?! I've gotten completely sidetracked from what I was doing and I don't care!

A VOLCANO?!?! Why is there a volcano right next to a village? You'd think they'd have moved by now!

Now then, what was I doing? Oh yes! I need some way to survive. Hmmm...

I punched a tree and logs came out. Not only that, but I punched them again and they turned into planks. And the planks glued together into a workbench! The world's gone mad, I tell you.

I'll probably need more wood, so I need an axe of some sort...

AHA! Not only do I have an axe, but I now have some strangely-placed pumpkins! BRILLIANT!

Bah, I'm getting hungry. And why is there a conveniently-placed domestic farm animal right there?

    Nom nom nom.

I just spotted coal in a nearby hill! No one said surviving couldn't be profitable, eh wot? But how do I get it...

I has coal! And reeds, apparently.

GAH! It's already noon! I can't survive in the cold at night! HURRY!

Well, I've found a big jolly ocean! With another volcano in it, no less! WHY ARE THERE SO MANY VOLCANOES?!?!

Anyway, I'm sailing across in hopes that I'm in Norway right now. Don't know why there'd be Japanese people in Norway, but I'm still hoping.

    *Hums flight of the Valkyrie*

    Just a tiny island.

Great scott! LAND HO! WHY AM I YELLING?! It even has rubber trees! And some weird ruins!

Yours truly, in a new land (that's hopefully part of the UK)!

SHEEP! I can make beds out of those!

Bollocks, it's getting dark. And I only found two sheep! I can't make a bed with only two sheep!

Well, it's really cramped and dirty down here, but at least I'm not getting eaten by whatever's making that hissing noise up there (I don't know of any animal that does that, but I'm sure that one's right above me!).

Sorry if it sounds a bit rushed, I slapped this together in-between classes.

EDIT: If anyone cares, here's what I've been doing in my non-Cubeaistic world:

So you got Redpower in? You planning to use the micro blocks for an extra special shrine?

Screw it, I give up. We are going to have to add all the jars, because 1.8 people will complain. alpha people will complain. and I think it is going to be a bloody mess. I hope actual jars won't be needed to added, just duplicates from all the versions of all the class files that were changed. Goodness grief, I hope this doesn't take up too much memory.

I still am of the opinion that people who want such and such an experience should go to mods for it, the lazy buggers.

    Quote from dropdragon

Does it really matter what vision he had if there was nothing evidently wrong with 1.7.3? If lots enjoyed it and played it, and it had perks over 1.8, then why NOT add a simple mode? Asides from having good gameplay and satisfying "a few" people who liked it as it was, it's a break from the now monotonous gameplay we have now, a chance to switch it up a bit. All it really requires is a few touchups as opposed to entire content additions, and doesn't detract from current gameplay if it's an option.

Realism<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Fun. Always and forever. You can call the new updates realistic as many times as you want, but the thing is that the simplicity of 1.7 just had a charm, the same charm that brought me to the game, and the same charm that has been almost lost.

Furthermore, it is actually our job to judge Notch's work. I don't know if you noticed, but we are the players here. Doesn't matter what Our Lord And Eternal Leader's vision is or was; if there's something wrong with the game, or something that can and will potentially turn out purely beneficial as this will, then why can't we have it? Is there something wrong with having fun with one system as opposed to another?

And stopping progress? It's a toggle-able feature most beginner mod-makers could do in half a day. It doesn't retract anything from current survival, and it only adds our classic beloved gameplay. Why is that so taboo?

1.7.3 was boring in your opinion? Okay.

Regardless of my opinion, and regardless of my current thoughts on Minecraft today, it's an established fact that 1.7.3 was simpler, for sure. And it's also an established fact that this simplicity attracted a great deal of people from many other games, most sick of the repetitive mechanics seemingly common to many game genres-regenerating health, hunger, critical hits, and more. It's only right that we should preserve this gameplay when it really doesn't detract from existing gameplay (which it DOESN'T) and when there is an appeal for it (which there IS, given the amount of times people have stressed that there are complaints similar to this).

This is a forum. Forums are filled with people. People are rude, disgusting creatures that willingly follow every hormone that comes in contact with their brain (known as emotions). Of course I expected criticism, but not to this degree for a toggle-able option that would take Notch a minute.

How do you know it would take a minute? So you demand that the previous jar is toggable in game? You also claim that the old system had more appeal, but is more popular. I cannot understand how you claim more features makes things more monotonous. I think you are living proof that there is more than god, there are assholes. (uncapitalization intended). 1.7.3 did not have any perks over 1.8. I have been there, done that. If you don't like hunger, play on peaceful. If you don't like combat play on peaceful. Nobody is forcing you to try to crit, or to brew potions. Frankly, I don't believe you actually want things to be simple. You look and sound like another nostalgic fool, who doesn't like it when things are changed. Zombies dropping feathers, and diamond swords being overly OP don't improve things.

I'm thinking it would be pretty cool to be able to craft a animal tag out of an iron bar and a piece of wool. You would be able to have colored tags, and also name animals. What do you think?
