Mojang has specifically listed this in their "Previously Considered Suggestions" list of ideas they are no longer willing to consider adding:

It might be as simple as they don't want the game to be about commanding a crowd of villagers around. So, if that's the case, maybe instead of giving 'commands', they could be some sort of suggestion system, which they could follow, or deny. Yes, it's the same thing, but in a different package.

Yes, simple, but the point in doing it is something id like to know.

Is it for the sake of lore? Is it because it's to time consuming and will take too much time away from bigger projects? Or are they just being random with no strategy to their thought about this descion?

Cause minecraft (any game really) isnt like a toy, theres far more responsibility in keeping the game healthy that makes random thoughtless decsions like "were doing this just because" far more harmful to the game than it would if you were playing with a toy. Im no game developer but based on what ive seen with other games (even really really popular ones), it would seem you should always tread carefully with any amount of inconsiderate behaviors. Its somethings games do time and time again that either

    A.) Hinders the games Growth

    Or

B.) Quietly poison it, to the point of no return

    Define rejected

Cause ive heard ideas have been rejected b4 but werre later added to the game because the ideas werent "rejected" just not set as a top priority which would be provin in mojangs orginial post

I honestly cant imagine why theyd reject something like that. They want the game to feel simple, then they dont want it to, like make up your mind >_>

Or just say you want the game to be fun and not deny us a useful mechanic that makes your video game more enjoyable thus making players want to play your game longer

posted a message on Using ingame currency to make playing minecraft feel more rewarding

Just added some possible new challenges that could be given to us, they could be rather grindy which i think is good in moderation. Considering minecraft already has grindy like features like mining and gaining experience

This sounds really cool, I like and support this idea. However it has a unlikely chance of being possible to be added to the game because Mojang never really went with ideas that are way out there and interesting. They try to keep the game simple. Great idea though. I'm not trying to call the game boring, tis just how it is.

Thank you! And though what youre saying is somewhat true, i do think they'd be willing to add something "simular" to this. It doesnt have to be today or tomorrow, but eventually

Their objective is to make the game "loved", so 1 day theyll definitely go "way out there"

Look at the changes to the nether since its release, and look at how complicated it is to get a Beacon!

posted a message on Emotes automatically sends a chat message

Some of the first reactions i heard from people talking about the "wave" emote is that its more efficent to simply type "hi" in game chat instead of walking up to every player and waving at them

So what if Waving also sends "Hi!" In the chat? Win win yes? Better gameplay immersion + efficency

(Im so excited for emotes, gonna chill on a beach with a "lay down" emote, or do a bunch of backflips from my house to my friend's house with a "locomotive" emote, Dope 💙🖤💙)

posted a message on Selecting textured blocks from your purchased texture packs

(Im on ps4 bedrock edition btw)

Imagine having a menu in your "Edit World" settings that showed a list of all the items in your minecraft world (Mobs, Blocks, Nether fog, etc), a bit simular to the creative menu when youre playing in creative mode.

Now imagine, when you select 1 of these items in this menu like the Diamond Shovel, it will show you all of your textures (from your purchased texture packs) for that item, and you will be able to select ONE of the textures for that item, to use for your world! And of course, you can do this with each item for the world!

For example: Say you want to select textures for the Diamond Shovel, Cow, and a Red Bed; and lets say you have the Halloween and Christmas texturepacks. You now can select the Halloween texture for the diamond shovel, Christmas for the cow, and Christmas again for the red OR Christmas, Halloween, and Halloween for the 3 items respectively; or some other combination!!

Cool yea? I dont know about you but, id buy a lot more texture packs with this idea

posted a message on Grief protection world setting suggestion, World Partitioning.
    Quote from Agtrigormortis»

and if you think about it this would be a great feature for public worlds, because then players would be less afraid of non whitelisted servers.

I can imaging communities like that being fun to be a part of where player cooperation was favoured over competition. Also with 100's of players on a custom server you would get cities done a lot faster too with world settings like the one I suggested for multiplayer.

For the time being though the only legit way to protect against griefing is whitelist, ender chest and turning PVP off.

There is no way to set territories in the worlds yet to prevent blocks being removed or placed.

Also while players should still be able to attack monsters in this new game mode, there are still loopholes in this suggestion which should be eliminated as much as possible.

How these loopholes would be closed without ruining survival mode though I'm not sure how to address.

But it would still suck if somebody brought a Creeper with them to exploit the loophole in this design.

One way to fix it would probably be the Creeper can only destroy blocks if the player within their territory attracts it.

if the player is not in their own territory, then the Creeper should only damage or kill the player(s) that are within range.

"But it would still suck if somebody brought a Creeper..."

posted a message on A mob that only spawns depending on time spent surviving

For example of what im asking for:

    ❄Summoning:

After killing pillager, there is 1% chance that the pillager might get revived and plan it's revenge against the player.

It will take a whole minecraft week before the pillager attacks you. The attack will happen on the 7th night, and you will not be able to sleep.

All of your pets will be on full alert, barking, meowing, and tweeting absurdly.

Then, out of the night, some red eyed pillager will spawn close to the player without any obstcales blocking the pillager and the player from reaching each other. This pillager is like a ninja, with the ability to teleport to the player if obstcales are blocking it.

    ❄Stopping the attack:

The pillager will only stop attacking you if killed OR if you fake your death by taking 7 hearts of "drowning damage" or suffocating damage.

    ❄Rewards:

Defeating the pillager will give you a "cosmetic" sword skin. This skin can be applied to any sword using lava and a smithing table. It will only change the look of your sword, it wont make it stronger. The "cosmetic skin" can ONLY be obtained through survival only worlds 😈

    ❄Benefits to gameplay experience:

This adds to the encouragement of playing the game more often, and playing survival. Cosmetic skins are fun trophies to ashow off to your friends, especially if it can only be seen in survival!

I feel like the only reason people pkay survival in minecraft is for trophies. A trophy can be "look what i built" or "minecraft heads". So lets expand on the fun of getting cool trophies in minecraft survival yea? Why not?

    ❄End

    Thoughts?

posted a message on 3 new security permissions for less stress when inviting public players

Partitioning actually sounds amazing, id love that as well

And your other ideas are good too!

I desperately want the Devs to work on this because meeting new people is fun in minecraft but doing it "safely" AND fun is kind of hard

I literally tried to do it safely and all of the people i was hanging with left me because they didnt like the restrictions i placed lol... i have a mansion with lots of details that took well over a year to make, i cant have it destroyed in any way 😂
