In case you haven't noticed. Oceans in the real world are huge. They do end but it takes a while. Also its hard to keep a boat straight with nothing to guide you so you may just be going in circles. Also if you spawned on the island and then you have nothing. So it will be a loss to no one if you just delete that world and start over. How long does that take? Like 30 seconds?

Jump in you *****!
Just kidding, but before the update was out I saw a thread "Oceans too small!" and now this. Make up your mind people.

I've been traveling on a boat through this ocean for a very long time.. I wan't to know if the oceans actually end or if it's just endless water in some directions... I've been in this ocean for ~40 min. It's to the points were I'm getting about 5 fps and it looks like Minecraft wants to crash... Whats with these oceans O.O

So you're testing the Alpha version of a Beta version and complain that there are bugs and some features haven't been implemented yet?
Quote from sqwirmy
I think that some people are forgetting Minecraft itself is still beta. You guys know what that means yes?
That means the pre-release is an demo, of an update, of a beta.
