Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features. It will list everything you have installed.

Yeah, there are to many things to list everything XD, but if i said i thought Microsoft Security Essentials was really working, would that help?

Like what all the programs you have installed. EG, photoshop, media players, etc.

I cant really say what programs, since i have many, i use VLC as a media player. I think Microsoft Security Essentials is going to help me out, once i started the run it got a bit faster, though my lag does turn off and on at times.

Try using Microsoft Security Essentials. I found it to be better than AVG. Also get malware bytes. Do full scans not quick scans. What programs do you have installed?

What do you mean by What programs do i have installed? and ill get Security Essentials. Right now im using Registry Booster 2012 to scan and fix errors on my PC

Hi, My PC has been a bit lame for the past few day with my windows. It is extreamly laggy!
Now, i never used to have this problem before and now its just out of hand, i cannot even watch YouTube videos on full screen anymore. If you have windows 7 and you are used to the snap feature with the windows, when i try that the window laggs REALLY bad. Scrolling makes me lag and dragging my windows make this wierd lag too, even scrolling down a page...
I own AVG and I scan once per day, the only thing it find is a broken DVDsoft program so its not a virus, or at least not one thats easy to find. I am using Mozilla FireFox as my browser.
I even tried turning off my computer and restarting it, it does work for a couple minutes after restarting/shuting down my PC but the lag will randomly appear!
Can anyone help me out and tell me what the problem is? Many thanks to the people who help me out on this!

^^ I posted this 3 days ago and still have not found the problem. if any PC experts are onine and can help, the lag REALLY brings down my FPS on everything, even just moving around my windows makes my fps around 15. can anyone tell me whats going wrong?

HDD = Hard Disk Drive = Hard Drive.

Your hard drive is probably near the end of its life that is why it may cause these lags.

As Gringo_Starr stated, if it is your file system, then my best bet for you would be to save all your work and format your machine so that you end up with a "brand new" machine OR you can go to google and search for Kaspersky TDSSkiller to remove malware which can also be a possibility.

If doing none of this will work try looking at your RAM as your RAM can possibly be the cause of all of this.

I have 3 gigs of RAM and my PC is not even a year old yet.Kaspersky TDSSkiller found nothing, Please anyone else know whats wrong?

I f defragging is temporarily fixing your problem it sounds like your HDD is dying, or there's something totally wrong with your OS install that's screwing up the filesystem in some way (or potentially some malware - run malwarebytes and Kaspersky's TDSSkiller just in case).

Im not too god with PC's where can i get these and what is an "HDD"
